I cranked this organ.

I see a small cranked music machine with a long string of cardboard sheets going into it outside of Sacre Coeur basilica in Paris, France.

Some run of Paper rolls (like on a player piano) some run on books (the cardbord sheets) or on computers (seen here).

Are you sure it is not a very small calliope?

A calliope is a set of chromaticly tuned flutes under a ton of pressure. They either have air or steam going through.

A street organ (seen here) can have flute pipes, violen pipes t or what have you. They are generally small and under less pressure.

This day was great! I cant wait until they bring it back next year!
