Dont forget...David Lee Roth did a more rocked up version too. But this one for me is the difinitive one. Lots of subtle nuances that make it very soulful. Love the bluesy feel to this one...Also on here look for the one with Eric Buron & War, featuring Jimi Hendrix.

Written by John Loudermilk, this was the VERY FIRST version I heard (On the Tamla Motown imprint from England) and is my personal ALL-TIME UBER-MEGA-ULTRA RAVE-FAVE of them all.

Rare Earth were one of the ALL-TIME GREATEST acts at Motown.
