@TakeOnNE1 Me too. I would select an enormous area and have it make around 7 trees, and all I get is a cluster of 7 trunks and one huge canopy all in the middle of the selection. I ended up just manually putting 2 or 3 trees around in the areas I wanted them to be. I lost some randomization, but it sort of gave me what I wanted I guess...

Can somebody tell me why my MCedit stops responding when I try to generate the gravel trees? It gets up to generating foliage on the little text thing on the other window then stops. And I am selecting the layer it plants on. Height is 70 and length and width are 200 x 250

I had a 512x512 area selected, and it took about 30 minutes to generate. Just give your computer time to do the calculations ;)

@619studios Easy, dig up ground, till you found bedrock. and break it (this is quiet hard part) and look for right part (or left or north, south or diagonal) and do it again. (dig ground, until you found bedrock, and break again) and you must do it for (299792458^299792458)x29979245­8+299792458^299792458 times. don't forget to leave 1 block in whole map. and you put block near, and again.. do it for (299792458^299792458)x29979245­8^299792458 times. and TA-RA! FLOATING ISLANDS!!

Protip! Edit the script so that the line:

ROOTS = "tostone"

is changed to

ROOTS = "hanging"

Which will make the roots hang down from the bottom of the islands, instead of sticking out every which way. Enjoy!

Okay, so I have made my gravel trees...(first step), but my problem is that they are all bunched up together and so they make just one big clump.

How to I get the program to spread them out like in this video?

@MalevenRalyks here's what i tried, setting the foliage density to negative...and/or you can try spreading out your chunk selection, making the side borders extend quite a bit past the edges of you islands that way it gives the filterer a bigger area in which it can spread out the trees
