Großartiger Film, dankenswerterweise mit Original-Ton, herrliche Aufnahmen von der Semmering-Bahn, der Schnellzug wird geführt von Baureihe 33.1 ( BBÖ-Reihe 113, Achsfolge 2' D ) mit Vorspann durch Baureihe 95.1 ( BBÖ-Reihe 82, Achsfolge 1' E 1' ), die Aufnahmen von der Bergfahrt auf der Semmering-Nordrampe sind nicht chronologisch geschnitten, manche Szenen für den Eisenbahnfreund leider zu kurz, stark ist die Musik, die hätte ich gerne auf CD.

Tolles Video!! Viel geändert hat sich am Landschaftsbild ja bis heute nicht. Aber alles in allem sieht es in diesen alten Filmen immer nach einer perfekten Welt aus =)

and if the holocaust is talked about in the media on a regular basis...well, it did happen...maybe if the world is reminded of it enough, it will never happen again..

@philthetremoloking do youknow about the holodor in Ukraine? It was the biggest killing of human beings of all time, at least modern times? See killing the other gorup is a part of life war, slowly waged like isreal against palistines, or quick like Germans do it? From the air usa plummels nations into dung heaps, Iraq, Afangistan, Germany, Japan, Vietnam? It is just different methods, the result is the same weather one chokes another out, or you drop a a bomb the result is the same death.

in any case, it doesn't matter. two wrongs don't make a right. to suggest that it's 'ok' or 'not so bad' for the nazis to systematically murder 9 million just because "Stalin murdered more" is just plain ridiculous. BOTH are horrible abominable crimes and deserve to be criticized and need to be remembered so that hopefully it will never happen again.

@philthetremoloking I would say it is worse to strave the Ukraine, when food was there! I would say the non person dropping of a A bomb on Japan and killing everyone, those who didn't have any idea it was coming is worse? Or the slaughter in China of by the Communists just because one could read and write, same with Pol Pot. See the end is killing humans, Dresden the people burnt in the rail system under the city alive. Can you imagine that? IJ would rather be gassed it is much quick.
