I don't live in NY, but WNBC's newsroom/set is way too generic for a NY station. As a newsroom, the advances in technology work really well. It is a good set for NY Nightly News, but they really need a new set for the News4 broadcasts. They could build a new set close to the "Content Center" and use the same technology in the new set. In addition, WNBC needs to add either a Noon or a 5pm broadcast, or possibly both a Noon and 5pm newscast

More like Hartford or Providence (more local), maybe just a couple thousand square feet bigger. Their newsroom is prolly smaller than WCAU's And they are trying to get an NY1 audience about 18 years after that network launched with fraction of NY1's headcount - how they can do it, beats me. If I were Chuck I would "bleep them before they bleep" him to steal his only best quotes when leaving Boston's Channel 7 many, many moons ago.
Our old studio is now going to the new Jimmy Fallen that will be taking over the late show, and Conan taking over Jay Leno, when he leaves. We had a very big studio. Our new one is a little smaller than our 3B.
