@ti07shadow Its actually two peices of A4 cardboard the glasses are on, the line is the join between them. its not video trickery, I used a dropper to move the water.
Because that would be a way too time consuming thing for me to do for something so easily accomplished in After Effects lol. & How did you know I use after effects?
Haha, dude you're funny. But I think it is as rewarding using after effects because it's something you like to do. I like to edit. You like to stopmotion (which requirs editing lol). But i love doing special effects and stuff.
That's really good, how long did it actually take to make this video? And I bet the glasses moving was a pain in the neck, how long did it actually the do the glass' moving bit? I bet it took quite a while right? This is going in my faves, I think it's kinda addictive to watch, 5/5 for definite. ^-^
Good job dude. I just have two questions. First off, did you loop the video after the first cycle? And secondly, that was really smooth. How many fps did you have?
a damn dropper!! jesus you have more time than I do! lol but still awesome vid! :)

I'm going to guess the way you switched the water without lifting the glasses is you reversed the video for some parts.. ?
KeeHartProductions 2 years ago
No no reversing, I used a hyperdemic needle to move the water.
comedyhunter 2 years ago
HAHA! Dude, i was gonna say the reversing or you sucked it out through a hose lol.
KeeHartProductions 2 years ago
Why not have a go at doing one yourself, but no cheating with After Effects !!!

Yes things are very easy using software but not as rewarding.
I used my powerful senses to work out you are an After Effects person (i.e. I clicked on yout username and looked at some of your videos.)

Thanks, glad you liked my simple stop-motion video.
It took less than 15 mins to make this video.

digitalanimationclub 5 years ago
Cheers, Yes I looped it. I filmed it so that the last frame lined up (using onion skinning) with the first frame. Only 5 fps.
comedyhunter 5 years ago
I really liked that, and I agree if the bars around me did that too, wow life could be...
MurrWes 5 years ago
snuckles - I guess it took great technical virtuosity to post that comment.
I guess a pipette / baster / syringe of some sort was used to transfer the water.
Simple concept nicely executed. Less is more.

Cheers Xinaesthetic, Yes a simple idea but I liked it.
Yes I used a syringe to move the water.
Thanks
