  • a damn dropper!! jesus you have more time than I do! lol but still awesome vid! :)

  • I can tell you the first thing that gave it away, the line down the middle of the screen :p

  • @ti07shadow Its actually two peices of A4 cardboard the glasses are on, the line is the join between them. its not video trickery, I used a dropper to move the water.

  • u use the dropper?

  • @dungd528 hyperdemic needle

  • @dungd528 yes

  • I just made a similar video like this JUST before watching this one how coincidental. Though mine may not be on youtube for a while...

  • wow thts pretty cool...and creative XD

  • I'm going to guess the way you switched the water without lifting the glasses is you reversed the video for some parts.. ?

  • No no reversing, I used a hyperdemic needle to move the water.

  • HAHA! Dude, i was gonna say the reversing or you sucked it out through a hose lol.

  • Why not have a go at doing one yourself, but no cheating with After Effects !!!

  • Because that would be a way too time consuming thing for me to do for something so easily accomplished in After Effects lol. & How did you know I use after effects?

  • Yes things are very easy using software but not as rewarding.

I used my powerful senses to work out you are an After Effects person (i.e. I clicked on yout username and looked at some of your videos.)

  • Haha, dude you're funny. But I think it is as rewarding using after effects because it's something you like to do. I like to edit. You like to stopmotion (which requirs editing lol). But i love doing special effects and stuff.

  • nice

  • nice job dude

  • holy molly

  • do you no how many images you took for this to look so smooth....?

  • Made from only 85 images.

  • what did you use to put the images together ....or...is stopmotion a software...lol...i dont no...=]

  • I used Jasc animation shop to make the avi from the sequence of images.

  • thnks.....=]

  • did you do this with lots of images....?

    5/5....=]

  • Yes, its "stop motion animation" I made this way back in 2000.

  • that's somehow creepy.

  • nice job mate

  • That's so neat! 5/5

  • You have the effect down. Well done.

    Five from us.

If you care to, stop by our channel and check out our SM videos. Peace.

  • how do you make a repeating .gif? I'm not to familiar with this kind of stuff.

  • that was smooth, good job

  • that was cool! haa ha its like magic =]]

  • smooth

  • what did you use to move the water? an eyedropper or something?

  • probably a straw... the way you drink pop heh. would be my best guess

  • That's really good, how long did it actually take to make this video? And I bet the glasses moving was a pain in the neck, how long did it actually the do the glass' moving bit? I bet it took quite a while right? This is going in my faves, I think it's kinda addictive to watch, 5/5 for definite. ^-^

  • Thanks, glad you liked my simple stop-motion video.

It took less than 15 mins to make this video.

    Andy

  • Lol if I was doing this kinda thing I'd probably stress on the glasses and through them. ^-^

  • great idea

  • that is ace!

  • Good job dude. I just have two questions. First off, did you loop the video after the first cycle? And secondly, that was really smooth. How many fps did you have?

  • Cheers, Yes I looped it. I filmed it so that the last frame lined up (using onion skinning) with the first frame. Only 5 fps.

  • I really liked that, and I agree if the bars around me did that too, wow life could be...

  • snuckles - I guess it took great technical virtuosity to post that comment.

I guess a pipette / baster / syringe of some sort was used to transfer the water.

Simple concept nicely executed. Less is more.

  • Cheers Xinaesthetic, Yes a simple idea but I liked it.

Yes I used a syringe to move the water.

    Thanks

  • everyone can do that! at any ages 9 to old

  • If only the bars in town did that :o)

Andy brilliant work there, must of taken ages? Cool :o)
