I think the gingers are just symbolic for what we all risk as citisens of this planet with the people in charge now. The fact that they are showing gingers just brings it closer to home for vestern countries who need to wake up! Not only black, muslim, asian, or south-american people are at risk, we all are! And how easy it is for latent prejudice to be made into a fullblown atrocity. How there's no such thing as 'it can't happen again' or 'it could never happen here'. How easy it is to group others as 'different' and 'us against them'.
