@Shivahara I like it, too! It's one of my favorite Giles moments, the look on his face just kills me. That said, that scene isn't all authentic because I tweaked the audio a little bit there on Buffy's side so that's not QUITE what happened. I wish it had... ;)

Fear not, you don't have to stake yourself. The "I love you" was taken from the episode "Surprise". Buffy actually does say to Giles in the series that she loves him but it didn't sound quite right for the emotion I was going for.

@alysha813 Well, you have to remember that few of these shots were manipulated so that they would have appeared to be on the same scene (like for example, Buffy never heard Giles sing) so some of it comes from the editing. That said, there were some scenes in BtVS that made me tilt my head and wonder about the two of them being together and whether it was done on purpose. Especially that scene where Giles is singing to Buffy, the way she moves towards him is very sensual and come-hithery, IMO.
