  • My 2nd fave REO song (after Live Every Moment)... but the studio version is better. Either it was mixed diff or Kevin cant hit the hi notes on the chorus. But yea.. the dancing girl is a hoot.

  • When did Matthias Jabs start playing for REO Speedwagon??!!

  • great bassline, no gary no reo though

  • @GregDemorest Thanks, jackass! I DIDN'T find her addictive until you SAID something, lol. Had to go to 'I need someone tonight' so I could see MORE of her! I have no Idea why;)

  • I asked a girl out to prom recently and I was unsure of the answer I would receive so I heasitated . Turns out she had a boyfriend. god I hate being indecicive but this song really says it all.

  • Am I the only one that finds the dancing chick up front addicting? This is great version of a great song. Kevin sounds amazing.

  • @GregDemorest Must have been amazing to be there, because it was a very cool show recorded to the history!!!... the history of REO Speedwagon, The Radio, and Rock and Roll Music too!!!

  • First concert REO/ Survivor loved it then -just as good now. They perform live as good as on the LP! most bands have to change things live

  • This is the song that got me over my first love, how could 2 people dislike this. It is a beautiful, little known classic.

  • @BantaBlackSox well I think that 10 million people who bought Hi Infidelity!!!!! in 80's!!! Yeah we know it!!!

  • @BantaBlackSox It was one of the songs I used to get over a lost love, too. Great lyrics that express how I felt.

  • Love Love Love this song!!!

  • love this song

  • Kevin sounds really good here!!

  • R.E.O Speedwagon still ROCKIN. More power to them

  • REO is the Greatest!!!

  • This is hella great. Thx for posting

  • Holly shit I don't know where you found this but it is great thanks!

  • Sorry, I was a sound tech for REO, Styx and Survivor when they toured together in 2003/2004. None of these bands used any vocal processors, pre-recorded lead or background vocals or harmonizers. The only vocal effects were through the sound board and mic, which was very limited. What you heard was totally live. In fact, Kevin smoked heavily during the 80's and 90's and quit in the early 2000's. He probably sounds better now than he ever did.

  • @SherwoodB66 Get your "years" in order pal, I met Kevin & the band outside the bus in 1990 & I still remember Kevin pointing his finger at a lady telling her to "PUT THAT CIGARETT OUT" &" NO CIGARETTS ON THE BUS". I"m guessing Cronin must have "started" again when the new album FAILED to chart or when EPIC records droped REO from their label. Having just fired Gary, it"s no wonder the new album fizzled.

  • dfhis song should have gotten more air time. It's my favorite REO Speedwagon song!

  • Kevin is a fantastic singer, and sounds just as good now as he did on Hi Infedelity. But I am glad that they have Dave Amato on guitar. Gary Richrath couldn't hold a candle to him. And it's also Dave singing the main part on the chorus here with Kevin on the lower harmony.

  • @SherwoodB66 Have no clue how you think Dave is better than Gary?!?!?!? And you being a supposed sound tech?? Man, ANY REO fan could tell you Dave can't play that six string the same way Gary did. Gary was THE MAN!! Loved watching and listening to Gary. Dave's good, but is NOT Gary Richrath!!

  • After years of hearing all kinds of music, this album can not be touched by anyone.

  • whoa! almost the as studio version! Impossible! they are really good!!!

  • Always is season-- and his voice is great-- regardless

  • This is one of those songs that will always be in season.

  • this is my favorite album song I never heard it live, but wish someone would post the album/record, :)

  • man i wish they had more vids on youtube for this song. my dad listens to it on his cd player every once in a while. i got used to it when i was 12. good song.

  • Kevin IS a great singer!!!, you don't have bought the CD Find Your Own Way Home and No So Silent Night, which him clearly demonstrates making a great recording, in two wonderful CD!!! by the way I believe that to criticize a film is to be seen and not on a TV using a DVD, but where is best seen on the seventh art, is go to cinema.

  • and her friend too

apparently the liquor was as good as the song

    bahaha

  • this is the only out of season video tht i could find on youtube!!!!!!!!

  • We shall see about the quality of Kevin's voice. Since 2010/2011 is the 30th anniversary of Hi Infi's release and success, the band will be doing some of these songs live. Hopefully this one will be done a few times, and get online!

  • this makes me want to pull out my old REO albums and rock out!

  • i have almost all of their stuff on 33. I am just missing their compilations from the late 80's. but got all of their first 10 or so studio albums.

  • Bullshit.

Cronin hasn't sounded like this in 25 years.

  • For me Kevin Cronin is the best singer in the world!!!!!, I think that you can't heard Find Your Own Way Home!!! is a extraordinary record!!! of his wonderful voice, certainly when recording Hi Infidelity was 29 years old and now Kevin have 58 years old!!! and still a nice, wonderful, great and the best voice and is definitely for me the best singer in the world!!!!!!!

  • The point that I'm trying to make is that this vocal performance is highly, and I mean highly, processed.

Again, Cronin hasn't sounded like this since the 80's.

I'm not arguing his former talent. Indeed, he was a great singer.

    "was".

  • I think that Kevin was, is and will remain a great singer, the best singer in the world to me, anyway thank you very much for your comment, I respect what you said but I disagree...

  • @635150 Dude who cares? It's a great song!

  • Nice job!!! And Kevin is singing it in the same key as it is on the album. Hi Infidelity gives me flashbacks to the 7th and 8th grade. And I agree that there were no weak songs on this album. I feel old. = )

  • @Eightiescandy Still singing in the same key 29 years later is a real feat!

  • LOVE THIS SONG!

  • My favorite REO Speedwagon song! One of their most underrated!

  • PLEASE DON'T READ THIS. You will get kissed on the nearest possible Friday by the love of your life. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. However, if you don't post this comment to at least 3 videos, you will die within 2 days

  • Espectacular!

  • reo will always have their magic! though it would be cool if gary and alan would come back!

  • I always loved this song, Kevin sings it perfectly. I

  • This is one of the greatest songs that never got radio play in the 80's..........it rocks!!!!!

  • Does anyone no what year this was in.

  • 2006

  • like last year, they did this thing with xm radio. its on dvd i have it but i cant find it to tell you the exact name lol

  • Wow great find, thanks love this song, also looking the org video anyone seen it

    thank you for posting this

  • I wish they played this at concerts!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What DVD is this from ?

  • Where did you get this video????....I want to get the dvd

  • It looks like it was recorded at XM satellite radio studios.

  • The videos is from the Hi Infidelity Then Again..Live album. It also included Bruce´s "Someone tonight " and Kevin´s " I wish you were there "

  • One of the best songs from the Hi Infidelity album - an album which (in my humble opinion) is one of the best ever made.

  • Whole-heartedly agree. I have this one still on cassette and CD.

  • awesome! :D
