The are giving you the PSP GoW games in one disc that will cost $60 tops and will deliver some of the best single player adventures (if not the best) you have ever played coming from a hand-held to a PS3, with better graphics, trophy support, dualshock 3 support, and 3D.

@DippersandSmiles DualShock support means it will be optimized for the PS3 controller even though the PSP only has one analog and it will support vibration (not a huge thing but its still there). Since you are not a true GoW fan the game isn't made to please you hence why the fact that you don't care about these features matters to no one, the game is being made for people that are fans and I'm sure a good amount of them care about the new features which took some money and time to include.

@darkviper016129 I don't have to be glad for anything, I have all the GOW games and GOW3 was a huge let down, was all about water cooler moments and was an incomplete game because of it, after the first 45 minutes it was 80% junk. I already have the GOW collection which was remastered for ps3 the same as this collection will be, also it's not being done by SSMS so it's not the team that works on new GOW games doing this, just like GOW collection it's being done by a 3rd party.

They'd also be able to charge full price, instead of the 30 or 40 this is going to cost (most likely) It would be nice to get a really good GOW game this generation, as I said before GOW3 was a huge let down, the best part of the game was the beginning and after that it was a slide downhill until the end with one of the worst boss fights of all time.

So all that they would have to do is the graphics, they could do both games for $60.00 which would be worth it.

@Hfajardo97 MS is remaking Halo 1 with all new graphics and it looks great, they are just "re-skinning" the game over the original, you can even press a button to get the original games graphics if u want, it's not as hard as you are making it out to be. The game it's self is done, a lot of money in game development goes to planning, making the story, level design and all of the rest of it, all that has been done so all they would be doing is using an engine they already have (the GOW3 engine)

I'm sure engines have different physics and technical qualities that demand work on before you peel off the other engine entirely and make the game work with the new one. As long as the game looks a little better than the GoW Collection made a couple years back it will be fine.

@clojap The thing is though. They're putting the new graphics in Halo 1 for the 10 year ANNIVERSARY of the Halo Franchise. God of War is in it's 6th year in gaming. They celebrated the 5 year anniversary with God of War 3. And Ghost of Sparta came out only 7-8 months ago while it's been 2 years for God of War Chains of Olympus.

So there's no reason at all to put the GOW3 Engine in the Origins Collection. No Anniversary like Halo or any other reason for them to do it. So just buy the game.
