  • YEA THAT MEANS WATCH THE NEWS MORE OFTEN!!!! the news has nothing to do with what anyone is trying to learn....

  • Nice suggestions. This is a good video, thanks

  • Excellent video.

  • Good reading Carter G. Woodson "Free negro owners of slaves in the United States 1830"

  • I truely believe that you may have missed the point of the author. He states "Try to learn something about everything." The quest for information is never-ending. Never let "well that's just the way it works" be an answer, dig out the information. What goes into building a house? Why is the sky blue? Some of the things we take for granted are incredibly intricate. Start digging for your own questions and get some answers. Learn something about EVERYTHING.

  • The problem is that most non-white people do not "Try to learn something about everything." which is evident if you study our condition in the world.

  • What's the word for a negro with a chip on the shoulder I wonder? Hmmmmm??? Yeah, I wonder. I opened this page to "learn something", Being black I now find myself eager with anticipation when I only really have one real goal left to act on, and that is pushing daisys out of my nose. Thank you good night.

  • Maps are also good. If you can, get some old world maps and compare them as they change through time.

This is good to do with a kid. You'll both probably learn something.

  • Excellent suggestion. Thank you.

  • Geography is one of my favorite pastimes, and we use the map as a tool in this subject. Interesting how "nationalities" and "races" are proven to be insignificant when you see the bounderies and names of "countries" change on a map oevr the years.

  • I am pleased to hear your justified opinions re/ your video.. I am a gay 40 yo white guy. I have been discriminated against for my entire life for being a homosexual. I think that you need to get over the inter-racial complex....then whe can unite our cultures. I admire your message, but request that you acknowlege you are not "alone" and other mature adults understand your pain. Jump UP!!! I wish you the best in life.

    Bless You,

    B

  • Here's the difference between your "discrimination" and mine. And I am getting tired of counter-sexuals, claiming that being "gay", is the same as being black. NUMBER ONE and it is a BIG ONE. You have to TELL people that you are "gay".

  • Look at me in this video. Do I have to tell you that I am black? The fact that you suggest that I "get over it", demonstrates that you being "gay" is a choice that you can "get over", I can not "get over" being black, I did not choose to be black, which is obvious. Being "gay" is questionable. Bless you too.

  • Way to go black man! Thank you for the excellent reading list. I have a copy of all of these works. Your mind is in the right place. I'm proud of you brotha! Also check out HOW EUROPE UNDERDEVELOPED AFRICA by Walter Rodney.

  • I read it when I was younger, it was my acting parent's copy. I have to go and get my own and read it again.

  • Brother, I'd like to offer a short list of books for your more sincere subscribers to read.

  • I have this one also.

  • I have read and still own #6. I will will work to acquire the others. I am familiar with "Pan-Africanism".

    thank you.

  • That's an excellent book, it's required reading in the organization that I'm a member of.

  • Watching the "news" is part of the reason for misinformation and racism in the US. All newspapers are biased by money. They dont report everything. They report what they think people want to see, read or hear about. Todays news is more about celebrity gossip than it is about the state of our nation. We cannot depend on any of the news reporting mediums as an education source. At least not yet anyway.

    LMAO @ "negrofile"

I think I might use that one. lol

  • Yes, what I left out was that if a person checks many different news sources and then think critically about what they've recieved they can get an accurate idea of what is going on. The Final Call is an excellent source of information for people.

  • The Final Call is also a biased source of information. The news media is not a tool for education. Its gossip pure and simple. Education starts with the desire for yourself or your offspring to learn. Acting on that desire leads you to educators and the educational system which has failed to create a ciriculum that will produce intelligent model citizens. High schools are more concerned with filling kids heads with trivia than giving kids the tools they need to be successful.

  • I don't see the use of it as being funny.

  • Why not? The mere existence of the word is laughable. The fact that people who claim to be of a "superior" intelligence felt the need to make up a term like that is a joke. Not to mention the word itself without a definition is funny to me.

  • well, what it does is demonstrate the thinking of the people who decided to put the word and others that are similar in their use in the English language, and only the smart and powerful white people have the ability to do such things.

  • How can I get a hold of "the united independent compensatory code" ? Is it like a regular book or do I have to go to some special websites/stores to get it?

    peace

  • send me an email address and I'll send you an invoice, with a paypal link. You don't have to have paypal to use it.
