  • "making him chew his croch!!" there i said it for u!!

  • 0:48 *

  • :48

  • cant wait till wrestling season wondered how a kid did this to me last season from the single but now i know thanks

  • haha he was going to say "he's making him suck his own dick"

  • thanks! :)

  • nice wrestling shoes kid with glasses.

  • nice pin technique i gotta surprise my coach with this one

  • Who that girl screaming in the back? That just ruin the instruction...

Btw, i prefer sanshou shuai jiao with full range striking...

Just my opinion, dun attack me...

  • @seveneihgt Btw, great instuction video...

Just like i was in that gym myself

  • dang50,000 know this now hopefully no one in myy league has watched this vid yet

  • i feel its easier to run a bannana split. idk just my thoughts.

  • The Saunders Cradle where us Colorado mother fuckers are from :) I wanna learn to be able to hit this shit easy :) great video

  • learned this move from our 125 senior getting spladdled by a sophmore

  • That was just a horrible single though. Forehead into the chest and ribs, not into their pelvis.

  • Constructive critism: With future videos, please have the kids in the background quiet.. I couldn't hear what you were saying sometimes because of them.

    Other than that, great video!

  • when he has a single on the mat, should one do this move, or the three quarter half?

  • when will coach teach us this im going to try this

  • Is this legal in folkstyle wrestling due to the lock of hands at 2:57

  • @Bryce2daGott No because the top man isn't in control. Even when youre on top and in control, you are allowed to lock hands if its for a pinning combination, which the spladle is.

  • @Bryce2daGott no, i think it because its a pinning combination? ye, i thinkk so, when you lock hands they dont immediately call it, they wait like 15 seconds because it may be a pinning combo

  • @Bryce2daGott You can lock hands on their legs... Lol. And at this position no one is in control (On top) so, since they are in neutral... you can lock hands in neautral position.

  • I am definitely using this at practice tomorrow

  • @sivret20 me too haha

  • the best thing to do is pass their leg behind your head and really stretch his legs out its great for kids that arent flexible you get to hear them yell

  • Couple big keys for this move: First, this rarely works on a flexible opponent...the more flexible, the less likely it will work. Second, position of your opponent's head determines the tightness of the hold...about the middle of your stomach. The head cannot be too far across or the whole body can pop right out with you on your back. Lastly, and most important, you must be willing to let go when you feel it slipping. Try to get your hips high and stay up but worst case, let him have the escape

  • I was able to roll up a state champion in this move but there are a couple of big keys for it to be successful. First, this move very rarely works on a flexible opponent...the more flexible he is, the less likely it will work. Second, the position of your opponent's head across your body must be tight but not too far across your body or he can pop right out. Lastly, if you feel it slipping, get your hips high and release. Try to stay on top in control but worst case...give him the escape

  • And that is why kids, you are taught to shoot for a single/double with your heads on the outside in the ribs keeping pressure. If someone get a single on me with their head on the inside, ill know what to do! Thank you for this vid, very helpful.

  • Is it possible to do a spladle with a double leg?

  • @cardboardboxing321 yea i know you would have to be really fast to do this though

  • I like Reece' kicks! Very cool!

  • Is that usable for HWT class?

  • better learn this before the season

  • .I'm going to use this in jiu jitsu. O_O

  • What...shoes on the mat? What?

  • haha i hate it when kids put me in spladle before practice sstartss and everyone slaps me in the ass lol

  • '10 - '11 will be my second year wrestling, not knowing what to do when someone has a single on me, this video has helped show me i am not optionless, I would really like to see the other variations as well

  • @maymen042 please scroll through our vidoes. there are sevaral and 2 new post the weekend. I will have approx 4-5 more up by the end of the weekend. Our guys that work on the spladle can win a match at any time the right opportunity arises. even when they are outmatched

  • @myosource Dude, thanks for the post. I'm new to wrestling and your videos are helping a lot. If only I had watched them yesterday maybe I could have beaten the team captain lol.

  • @maymen042 You can also hook his head sit back and cradle, but the safest defense would be to throw in a whizzer and try to get your leg out

  • @maymen042 lol...im in your same position.

  • @maymen042 sprawl and then take there back is the easiest way

  • @maymen042 another good way is to do a whizzer

  • you seem like you know a lot i wanted to know how to exactly do the spladle right. and you seem very educated by talking to the others below, would you like to check out my wrestling video of me i made.

  • wouldn't it be hard to pull in thoe shooter's knee in from the single leg down like that?

  • can you please explain to me which way is more effective? do you want your opponets head on your body or do you want it on the mat? which one would be more effective for pinning a high level opponet?

  • @wolfnelly once ur in the finishing position u want the man's haed on your body because that creates more pressure on his neck. in order to relieve the pressure he will rotate his body up, which puts his shoulders on the mat.

    hope this clarifies

  • Ouch

  • "Now you go, ♫turn out the lights the party is over, they seen it all♫" haha

    4:04

  • im glad to see how you do this move, i learned the standing spladle like 4 years ago and like 2 weeks ago i did it and this guy who i think is the coach for team MI told me that when you do the spladle you end up flat on your belly, is that just a different way to do it or is he talking about something else

  • good video. the coach walks yoiu through it really good. A+++++++++++++

  • how can you base how good someone is on how they look?

  • ok first look at theyre socks lol. if theyre bright and colorful theyre pretty good. :D

  • @LAZYLAZERIOUS intimidation does NOT WORRK!!! this white kid i wrestled mugged me the whole time we went against there team then i beat him in under 30 seconds

  • You could have at least gotten people who know how to wrestle to demonstrate.

  • That is exactly what these guys want you to think. Many of their opponents have had the same opinion.

I will have Coach T let them know they apparently should be ashamed of their combined 43 and 9 record and 17 Spladles.

  • I hear wrestling shit people gives you great records.

You'r saying the kid doing the single leg knows what he's doing? Honestly?

He's bending straight over, sticking his head in the other kids crotch. No shit you can spladle kids like that all the time.

  • Very sad that you would come on here and downgrade people like that. very foolish which shows your ignorance. these kids are wrestling good competition and doing very well. this video was for demonstration purposes for those are interested in improving. It was not intended for you to act and talk like an ass.

  • Ok so the splatle is cool and embarasses kids to the point where they want to shoot someone. but if i start my freshman year, (since iv'e never wrestled) but i know the basics do you think that i could at least get a few pins. my cousin has trouble pinning me and he wrestled for 3 years now. plus i put him in a guillotine? and don't call me a noob and that i can't do it.

  • we belive the spladel gives you a weapon to put you in position to win a match at any time. there are 13 variations and you have the basics and your opponent makes a mistake you can win at any time;.

  • @myosource So my dad says in souern California, they practice till the walls sweat, like when there is so much condinsation and sweat that the walls start to get wet. Do you guys do this or do you have time set?

  • we go hard, fast and effective. it is our preference to go hard, follow a schedule and get things done. Longer does not mean better.

  • @myosource I expected that, but i would think that the harder you work the faster it will get done but if you don't try then it will take longer. at any rate i know a high school that practised for 10 hours. after school till midnight, at least on the week ends. and i would have to agree that longer doesn't equal better.

  • my wrestling coach does that.. he puts the heat on max, and feels like 100 degrees in the wrestling room, and we practice hard for 2 hours.. there was literally sweat dripping on the walls all around the room. my clothes were drenched.. it was gross

  • @chich311 My wrestling team will do that whenever someone walks in during our practice they have to walk out because its so hot and humid in there from all the sweat lol

  • @chich311 my team warms up till "the walls sweat" as u say then we do our actual practices usually this over takes about 2.5hours but sometimes longer i have to disagree the longer u practice the better the cardio and 95% of the time a win comes from the opponent being to tired to defend so if one is in better shape then theyre opponent it is safe to say they will win the majority of the time

  • i want to master this

  • hey check out my wrestling videos! if you like comment rate and subscribe please

  • Nice job - Nice Message - should redo the video without the screaming in the background *laughing*

    :)

  • Does it matter what goes first from the standing spladle? I mean do i thread my leg first then lockmy arms, or ViceVerca.

  • yeah i do my leg first, im not to sure how much it matters

  • @ddg152 i would go for his leg first. chances are if they know the move, threading the leg first will give it away or at least give him a chance to pull out. just my 2 non wrestling cents! hope it helps

  • I can see were your going with that, makes allot of sense. Thanks!!! Even though you don't wrestle you really have helped me. =)

  • @ddg152 glad to help! im more into mma but im really amazed with many of these wrestling moves. if there are any other useful moves u think i'd like feel free to send me a link.

  • i did this move perfectly just like how you demonstrate. but his shoulders weren't on the ground. how do i get his shoulders on the ground?

  • Please see our other Spladle videos and they will show you .

  • that is amazing. thanks so much im going to try that

  • that demonstration sucked, the kid doesnt even know how to shoot a single

  • so why are not telling him how to do it.

These kids would hope you shoot a great single leg so the can spladle you.

If you are going to criticize or make negative comments at least post something that gives others information they can use.

  • My coachwont let us do spladles because of the defensive pin. We just step and cross face as hard as possible, haha ;)

  • If you stay on your side and maintain control you will not have a defensive pin. with High School, Middle School and Club wrestling we have had approx 70 Spladles so far this year and NO defensive pins.

  • in california, we call that a cooper

  • complicated but good instructors

  • the best spladle instruction video!!!

  • defensive pin easy to do. u dont have the same view of where you and the other wrestlers shoulders are in relation to the mat as the ref does. another common mistake is cuting musdcle to cut weight, rather then packing on muuscle and going up a class. more muscle on u. the higher percentage of your body weight is muscle. u just have to do the exra running to build the cardio to suport that extra muscle in a match.

  • i used 2 have those adidas wrestling shoes that the tall kid wit glasses had. but then i outgrew them, n got adidas vaporspeed II's

  • Hey choach t its a student from the GMS

  • this shit is badass ima try this out!

  • A defensive fall happens when a wrestler is working a spladle or pin move and loses concentration and puts their back on the mat and essentially pins themselves. I have seen it happen.

  • ahah yea i have to, my friend pined himself he was all mad and confused aahaa i started buggen because he thought he had won

  • it happened to my friend during practice. we were going at it and he tried a move and had both his shoulders on

  • What's a defensive fall?

  • ouch!

  • also great vid and great instructions.

  • Thank you for this video. Helped a lot.

  • This is about High School wrestling, knowledge and skill improvement. Your ignorance is not appreciated.

  • Well said

  • that's what everyone says...until they're actually put into something like this..then all they think about is the pain or the humiliation of them making fun of grapplers

  • this video really helped me. i pulled a spladel on my brother the other day and today i won a tournament with it

  • wow u guys are great :DD

  • At 5:25 instead of trying to put both legs in can you just lock your legs together? will that work the same?

  • Hooking both legs causes the opponents feet to pull more over their head which causes them to tilt a bit more toward their shoulders and neck. It also helps control the wiggle and swinging the opponent may try to wiggle out of the hold.

  • That depends on which end you are on. lol. It is a great move and if you can learn it, you have a weapon at all times.

  • This move is hilarious!

  • Thank You

I'm Italian Wrestler, and here nobody Know that tecnique!

    Byeee

  • I'd love to come to Italy to show a group so you hammer all. You could also get the DVD.

  • Muahaah, here I pwn all by spladle xD

  • great vid. keep them coming.

  • great video good demonstration really helped!

  • Nice. Thanks it helped a lot.

  • Thanks for the comments.

  • my brother in law atcualy wrestled with nick simmons in college and they were good friends and i always wondered how to do the spladle and now i do thanks!!

  • thanks this video really helped

  • thank you for the comments. we will have some video of Coach T's son in match action showing multiple spladles very soon.

  • Awesome & devastating move! Mastering this can make a novice competitive with a veteran grappler. I have seen Coach Ts guys blow people up with this.

  • Thanks for the comments. Coach T is also a speak with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and he often references his ministry about athletes staying on track and being focused.

  • I love doing that move to friends... very humiliating. Not sure what the premarital sex reference was about...
