  • Great try!! Any advice? Thanx.

  • How much you goin for today, bro?

    1100

    You gonna need a spot?

  • How much can this guy lift for real

  • @lairdriver the world record bench last I saw was 1080 pounds it's crazy but 1000 pounds has been broke in our lifetime there's some strong mother fuckers in the world today

  • @killajoshd Pity it's WWE lifting with assistance like shirts and wraps. 325kg or 715 is the real record.

  • A one thousand pound bench press will never happen in our lifetime. Not even close. Pec tendons are just to easy to tear and the limits to human strength - even augmented by steroids also have limits. 1000 pounds for a bench press would require almost superhuman strength.

  • I hate those lifting shirts i seen a lad who could not get 300lb down to his chest with it on

  • u know its a lot when the spotter has a belt on

  • i cant even get 350 off the rack, good job. i dont like the shirt though, a t is all u need

  • man 500 kg is a hell of weights, it is indeed a world record u r seeing. he was so close man woooo

  • This is just scary to me, with a shirt an wraps and all that gear you are trying to lift more than you have any business doing. I lifted for several years and I just got tired of the gear, and who has the best shirt. With a shirt the tighter and more constrictive it is, you can't breath right, and as you lower the bar you have to fight to keep it from falling toward your face or waist, like you saw here on the first attempt, its basically a lock out press, the shirt gets it off the chest.

  • what the fuck was this supposed to be?? a video on how much weight a person can't benchpress?, this video was just as terrible as the song playing for it. fuck

  • @MusclesNoGlasses Bench Press Attempts just like the title says.......

  • @MusclesNoGlasses were you too stupid to read the title where it said "ATTEMPT"???

  • I like lbs scale because it makes my records look better than in kgs

  • those spotters are the dogs bollocks!!! ftw!

  • I give him a break on form, he's not a forklift.

  • @Eriikk82 Yeah hes only raw bench press world record holder he sucks!

  • this is too gay

  • Ha! What a little pussy! I couldn't even get it off his chest!

  • does he even lift?

  • Pussy can't even life 1102 pounds

  • shit fell on his gut.

  • This is so much bullshit. They should ban all the assistance gear for these attempts.

  • @codename7000 Agreed!!

  • What's with those shirts man?

  • @mrgejwaites Go out and try to bench that much weight without tearing both your pecs. Then ask about the shirts.

  • @MEELATEHGRIL Chill, It was an innocent question you read to much into it. I genuinely wanted to know how they help... You got a temper problem, and for the record why would I want to bench that much?

  • @mrgejwaites There was no anger in my comment. Calm your shit.

  • @mrgejwaites They help you bench more

  • @FlashoutLive How?

  • @mrgejwaites Because they are tight so when you go down the muscle contracts better when going up, like an extra resistance

  • What the fuck did he sniff before he benched at 1:02?

  • @DefinitionOfSex

    smelling salts

  • He missed it because his wife didn't beat him first.

  • he can lift 1101 more pounds than i can lift

  • Way too many roids

  • he needs to find his chest a little faster

  • if u fail the 1st attempt, u wnt get it up after that, trust me

  • @imserious2187 i can tell you've never competed, it doesn't work like that

  • @nvbaileys u dnt get wat im sayin, plz b quiet

  • @imserious2187 Thats usually true. However the last bench press contest I competed in here in my hometown, a competitor in the womans division failed her first lift attempt at 125, came back hit 115, then ironicly hit 135 on her third attempt to win the contest. It was crazy.

  • lool the guy smellin his wedgie took the cake.

  • @FUCKLittleWayneBITCH LMFAO thank's for that 1 ;]

  • what was that stoff that he sniffed in the little bottle

  • @jubbs303 steroids

  • @iRPwnzYou GTFO

  • @iRPwnzYou обколись стероидами и попробуй столько выжать... такие ссыкуны, как ты, вечно блеят, как овцы, насчет стероидов, лежа на диване...

  • @iRPwnzYou Probably.

  • @jubbs303 smelling salts

  • @jubbs303 smelling salts or amonia

  • You know its big when you got about 7 spotters

  • no the record is over a thousand pounds

  • damn and he thought he would lift it? :D:D:D very funny asshole :D

  • how much is 1102 lbs?

  • @UBIincorporated 500 kg.

  • yeah sure he can bench this much but can he wipe his ass!

  • @fenderalexmaster He doesn't own a donkey.

  • Just think, if he just instantly drops the weight mid lift. He is dead.

  • chuck norris can lift 1000lbs on his dick

  • @Cruzycuzz Does he wrap his dick up in a bench shirt first, or does he hit that shit raw?

  • I want his raw benching strength

  • @JimmyD0YLE 715 lbs - the World Record!

  • @OgreMECH That might be the raw record, though I'm fairly sure I've seen more. The shirted record is much higher though, for sure. (But I'm with you, I prefer that shit raw, dawg.)

  • didnt take enough steroids

  • este man siempre se patina, mucho preambulo y siempre se queda.....hay que ver que pasa jajaja pidele ayuda ryan kennelly

  • MUTE

  • these guys are using bench shirts, they are sooooooooooo tight that if a weak man were to put one on he could bench press 350 5 times there is no denying that these guys constantly work on bench pressing, but using suits, cmon man just go striaght raw people who actually know lifting laugh at people that wear suits

  • @GANGSTAELPASO people who actually know lifting are you for real gangstaelpaso or what ever your gay wanna be name is this guys forgotten more than you will ever no you are a pussy.

  • Comment removed

  • his suit says exactly what this is... overkill

  • It takes 1 guy to almost bench press this but it takes 7 guys to pick it back up. lol

  • cheater using a shirt

  • @SHARK1033 Well do you reckon you could bench even half of that wearing a shirt?

  • benching over 1000 1bs is impossibly for any human being end of story...

  • @superdupe8 This guy has benched 1030

  • @filthyfingers as i was saying earlier, maybe you didn't hear me clearly.

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANY HUMAN BEING TO BENCH OVER 1000 POUNDS

  • @superdupe8 Are you implying that equipment is cheap?

  • @superdupe8 chuck norris does incline bench presses with 1000 lbs dumbells !

  • šupák :D

  • He also has the world record for raw bench press @ 715lbs so yeah..

  • @ 0:58 what is the stuff that he's snorting? ammonia caps?

  • @johnlew05 ammonia inhalants it helps you get psyched up before you attempt to lift heavy my coach uses them when hes lifting

  • Seems like they use up so much energy just lowering it to the right section of their chest.

  • What the hell is with that stuff they sniff right before big lifts?

  • @Mongoly357 its ammonia

  • ???????? xDDD

  • do it with out any help smelling? arm bands that help??????? well???

  • At 1:20 the guy on the right pulls out his wedgie and then smells his fingers.....

  • @FUCKLittleWayneBITCH haha. his ass is sweating.

  • @FUCKLittleWayneBITCH wtf both guys pulled em out at the same time!! but only one smelt it

  • I love how at 4:10 everyones like FUCK SHIT PISS ASS GET THE BAR OFF OF HIM, and the black back spotters like, well ill just gingerly help him up

  • Every time I (and some of my buddies who powerlift waaaaay more than I do) we always get some small/fat/lazy guy whispering that we "must" be on steroids. Seriously people. Recognize strength as strength, in powerlifting, more often than not, it's100% drug-free.

  • @TeenyTiny945 your a funny guy. if you're so big and bad go compete with someone at your level. my body weight is not that much (150 pounds) and I'm cut up. I never said 245 was a lot...i said it was nothing and i'm not that strong. you obviously can't read so fuck off pansy.

plus my training is in kick-boxing. there is a lot more emphasis on cardio and endurance. you on the other hand are a trained troll.

  • @TeenyTiny945 keep your civility to yourself. ur missing my point because your hell bent on telling me this is a great record. it's great, but there's more potential. i've been training for about 12 years (when I was 14, now i'm 26) and don't do drugs (can't say that about you). i'm done arguing with a fool like you, because that makes me one.....

    have a good day.

  • @TeenyTiny945 yea, really. maybe not a few, but in 7 or 8 years of constant scheduled training, it's possible......if they have a decent amount of weight and muscular frame from the beginning.

stop living in a teenytiny world.

  • @TeenyTiny945 i'm drug free, and so should all athletes be. racking and un-racking the weight is part of the lift....if you can't handle it, then don't say you can bench it. 715 is a huge bench for you and me...but what about the 300 pound guy who's all muscle. it's only a little over twice his body weight....someone should definitely be able to beat this record with a few years of training. your missing my point......i'm done explaining.

  • @TeenyTiny945 i've worked out many different gyms over the years. every medium to large gym has that 425, 450 pound bencher. If that's very common, 715 does not sound like a lot from a world record perspective. I'm not talking about me or you doing it.....I'm just saying that elite level athletes can do amazing things....and in 2011 a max 715 pound bench is not amazing. (especially when a lot of these heavy benchers don't un-rack and rack the weight themselves...which should be a requirement

  • @TeenyTiny945 the point is, there are 7,000,000,000 people in the world. the world record is usually so high that most people don't come within close to it. Like the most push-ups done in one hour was 3,877. the human flag official world record is 39 seconds.....most people can't do even a 5 - 10 second proper flag.

yet the bench press world record seems very low by comparison.

  • @TeenyTiny945 good call. my mistake. still a pretty big difference between the two. good stat

  • What a fiasco. He takes 5 minutes to powder up his hands before he ever sits down on the bench. Then he has the shirt on that everyone knows adds strength to the bench, so that is bullshit too. You know the shirt is bogus because he can't even scratch his ass with it on. Why the fuck even bother to do this? If you need 15 spotters around and special clothing to do something, it isn't worth doing! What a goddamn waste of time. Raw is all that matters. This is as useful as jerking off.

  • @jd194582 I agree. This was all done for attention i.e. I almost jumped off the empire state building, I almost ate 100lbs of steel nails in one sitting, I almost scratched my ass with my faux lifting shirt on.

  • @jd194582 true, raw is the real deal. this is bogus. i'm not very impressed with the raw record though.....only 715 pounds by scot mendelson. I bench 245 max and i'm not very big or strong....yet that's 1/3 of the world record????

  • @ahmad18ny try droppin that 2/3 down on your mellon. your talking almost 500lbs. most people never bench 500.

  • Comment removed

  • @ahmad18ny

A 715 raw press doesn't impress you, huh? Because you're "not very big or strong." You, sir, haven't a clue. Get your bench to 300 ... then to 400 ... then to 500 ... then to 600 ... then to 700 ... Yeah, good luck. SO few elite powerlifters ever go above 600, raw. Why do you think this is? The difference between 245 and 715 is HUGE. Beyond huge. Your comment just exposes your not knowing anything about strength, etc.

You seriously have zero idea how heavy 700 pounds is.

  • @TheTrueFortress your missing the point. it does impress me....but for a world record i would expect a lot more. body weight has a lot to do with bench press....i bench almost twice my body weight. there should be some muscular three hundred plus pound people who can bench more than twice their body weight.

as an example, i've seen a 150 pound person bench 350. so this record seems proportionally small.....

  • @ahmad18ny

And you're not educated enough to understand reality as it relates to human strength performance. As with a high-performance car, greater and greater loads lifted require proportionately greater and greater concentric force (a car requires, say {and I don't know cars, so forgive me my technical errors}, 150 horsepower to reach 100 miles per hour; to reach 200, it might require 700 horsepower).

Almost all double/triple/etc. bodyweight presses are done by lighter lifters.

  • @ahmad18ny

Further, your understanding as to just how RIDICULOUSLY impressive a 700-pound press is is glaringly obvious. What is required to press 350 pounds isn't even a blip as to how much is required to press 700. It's called diminishing returns, and it applies totally to strength performance (as detailed in my first response). Again, you do not know what you're talking about.

    Take a quick mental poll of how many press 300 ... now 400 ... now 500 ... now 600 ... now 700 ... Get it?

  • @TheTrueFortress I wish americans would use kilos, you do know he is wearing a special shirt that helps a lot ?

    raw is the only way

  • @morry271

Pounds/kilos, whatever. Of course I know he's using a multi-ply shirt in this video. I am talking about his raw 715 with Coan giving the call. Spoke with him two days ago and he's going for a 730-750 raw press in the coming months.

  • @TheTrueFortress those figures are immense and impress me more than the shirted 1000 lb plus ones

  • @morry271

Oh, same here, friend. I am a raw powerlifter for this very reason. I squat raw over 700 (also drug-free) and am more impressed with my achievement than I am with those guys who do a grand-plus with all the multi-ply equipment, monolifts, crazy-wide stances (which necessitate the use of a monolift) and boatloads of drugs (not that I am specifically anti-drug).

The stopping power alone of that equipment is remarkable.

  • @jd194582 Every one knows that masturbation is useful in itself. Girls do it as well....

But I agree with every thing else you say......Hand powdering and a whole special event for him just to lock out 1,100lbs and make it seem like he's benching it?

    Fail.

  • What the hell is with the cluster F spotters trying to rack it?

  • gay music

  • This guy cannot control this weight. He is making an attempt just to grandstand. I think his record is 1010 or 1030 lbs with this ridiculous elastic zinger. Raw is the only way this sport can go forward and progress. I wonder when the next technology in shirts gets developed so we can get a new crop of lifters benching 1200 lbs.

  • @beyondonethousand we must have been looking at different lifts. look how slow it came down.

  • @mkrulic517439

mkrulic I think it is going down slowly because the shirt allows for excessive prestretch. No doubt in my mind that Mendelson is powerful but this weight is way over him. He does have good control on it but that shirt can indeed support a lot.

  • @beyondonethousand "...the shirt allows for excessive prestretch. " thats true. I had a cheap shirt and lowering was a lot easier. the weight was out of his reach. hard to tell if he was chancin an attempt at a p.r. or what. agreed.

  • only differnce between raw and gear is u can add about 50 lbs to your max with gear both still require hard work and dedication

  • @monkeylover187 the same guy set the raw record at 705. want to reconsider?

  • cant even imagine how that would feel

  • @ix132 you must have MJ confused with you mom, pussy!

  • weres the 4 foot tall fat mexican girl who slaps in the face him before his bench press???? :S??

  • @daisyhunter123 Thats his wife

  • fucking song, arrrrrrgggg

  • i dont understand the tire suit??? if u cant do it without the suit then you CANT DO IT!!! PLAIN AND SIMPLE, i mean if youre gonna wear the suit, you might as well use a jack while ur at it. WEAK

  • @argarzah Let's see you do it. That's pretty plain and simple if I do say so myself.

  • @NinjaOnWeed I never did steroids nor used a stupid weight lifting suit and was benching 450lbs by my senior year in high school. By the end of my college year i was adding an extra 100lbs on that and squating more than 700lbs, RAW!!! Just a pair of shorts and a weight belt. This is the stupedest so called "sport" out today. Zero validity or credit for those who don't bench, squat, powerclean, or deadlift RAW!!!!! All you idiots who like to comment otherwise are cheats and cowards.

  • @argarzah What are you trying to act like a hard ass? There are safety precautions that come along with wearing that shit. When you end up with a fucked up skeletal structure, and suffer health problems, I bet you won't be acting like such an asshole then.

  • @NinjaOnWeed HARD ASS??? I'm not the one putting on a fucking suit to do weight i CANT do, DICK NOSE!!! Precautions my ass!!! Those suits are for nothing but cheating....for those rejects, like yourself, who dont have the technique nor discipline to do it otherwise. The only health problems you should worry about is rectal hemmoraging from getting it up the ass everynight by your gym buddies.

  • u know its big weight when ur spotters got a belt on

  • @smelly1smelly Hahahaha

  • @smelly1smelly haha. 500 kilos would spatter any of us like insects.

  • you can tell right at the start he won't lift it.kudos for him to even try though go scott

  • News flash: Ryan Kennelly sold FAKE STEROIDS! Kennelly was arrested again for selling narcotics and bottling fake counterfeit steroids. Goes to show a small man in a big body known for lying and scamming. All over the news now.

  • @EasyTooIShop Kennelly is still the best, his social life doesn't have shit to do with his powerlifting

  • With all the gear on, it is almost replicating a smith machine bench press.

  • Awesome! Fock me he needs six spotters! who still seem to struggle!Complete awesomeness!!

  • I respect these powerlifters, but...if you give me a shirt that pulls my arms forward with 1,000 lbs. of force i can lift this too.

Obviously im joking, but you catch my drift. You're not really lifting the weight if you're not doing it raw.

  • @yonkersfugitive He can bench 700+ raw. I don't like the shirts either though.

  • wow tattoos look so bad

  • u know your a B.A. when the guy spotting you is wearing a belt.

  • that just crazy!!

  • What's wrong with this guys arms, he's like a mummy all the time.......

  • @thunorrr its his bench shirt

  • @1Nvinc1BLE

i could do without hearing it again..

  • lol this is stupid. suits are dumb. if you can't control the weight you shouldn't even attempt it.

  • imagen him fucking his wife! lol

  • im 10 and missing an arm but i can still get 625 on the flat bench

  • - Fair play to him, I think even if I was that strong I wouldn't have the balls to get under 1100 lbs.

  • at 13 i can bench 410lbs raw with perfect form beign dope free myself! XD

  • @13andincrediblycut

I'm 12 and I can bench press 615 pounds with perfect form. I thought I was a little weak compared to my friends, but seeing that you can only do 410 I guess I'm fine.

  • @myez I'm 11 and can do 620...looks like I win XD

  • @JS8700

    God damn, good job man.

  • @JS8700 It's not possible. :(

  • @myez lol, ur funny.

  • Steriods aren't cool... I'm just saying.

  • I could do that with a shirt too

  • it must be hard to rerack lol

  • 1102lbs! That's 387POUNDS! Over his RAW Bench We have clearly reached the limit of human strength if the gear has gotten this thick heavy and sophisticated. I've seen less body armour on the ATF officers and the bomb squad....But if it can be done my money is on Scott.

  • @1Nvinc1BLE the song is called "4d Religion" by a band called Scorngrain

  • and the record for the biggest bench press attempts goes to.....

  • To all the haters, bench shirts (and any gear) are not only intended to help the lifter, but also PROTECT the lifter's joints, etc. And it takes way more balls to lift with gear as well. Technique must be perfect. And it doesn't just automatically make you lift zillions of pounds. Preparing and training with it (btw, we gearheads also train RAW a lot as well) takes just as much dedication as any RAW lifter has, if not more. I used ot be raw only, but that has changed. Try it, respect it.

  • @nerb03 thank you someone that is not a fucking retard like everyone else the just talks shit on gear

  • this is my P.e coaches son
