  • a work of genius,ilove Reggie's music,bless you man!

  • Reg's 1971 album featuring this track has been reissued by Circle Records, including 45 of 10,000 Miles.

  • One of thee great vocalists!!!! R.I.P. Reg King

  • I love Reggie, I love Reggie, I love Reggie! Oh gosh thanks a millon for this upload. Paul Weller is so right, Reg has the best soul voice. This 45 you have is very valuable too, thanks for sharing the music. :D

  • @wouldntyoulike2know I wonder why Paul Weller didn't include Reg in his top all time soul singers in some mag I read awhile ago? He actually listed John Lennon as one of the top soul singers if you can believe that?

  • @wovokanarchy I had wondered this myself. I am sure he is a big fan but it is odd that he didn't list him. It is also odd he didn't list Steve Marriott who I am sure influenced his style as well.

  • @wouldntyoulike2know Actually if my memory serves me correctly Mr. Weller did list Steve Marriott in the top 10 soul singers.

  • @wovokanarchy He did? Okay that is good. I couldn't quite remember. I wish he would have listed Reggie, because really, in my opinion Reggie invented blue eyed soul. :)

  • @wouldntyoulike2know I think you can't leave out Steve Winwood also. The Spencer Davis Group was actually banned on ''white radio'' stations because they thought it was ''colour music''. The black radio stations gave them air time, also, because they thought they were a black Rn'B group.

  • @wovokanarchy Oh I certainly don't. :) I do greatly admire the Spencer Davis Group. I was just stating that I thought Reggie was the leader of the whole thing in my opinion. But there are many groups of that time that all are and could be credited with creating the sound. Although the sound does create itself. :)

  • @wouldntyoulike2know I remember I bought The Ultimate Action back in 82 or 83 and I played that album to death. I actually should have bought another one for the condition. Anyway,The Rolling Stones had a hit with the Harlem Shuffle a while later and I thought there was no comparison between the two versions of the two groups. The Stones didn't do the song justice. A lot of greatness goes unrecognized and The Action certainly didn't get the credit they so rightly deserved.
