Pretty good video. Pity they both seem airbrushed as in, like they've never fought before. Where's the scars, the practical armour, the muscle build that you get from using weaponry a lot? They look like someone just grabbed them out of a Final Fantasy film and tweaked them slightly.

Why are people arguing over concepts that aren't even the original in the first place? Lineage II didn't borrow from DnD - elves are in thousands of other things, DND came out in 1974, so if anything it 'stole' from LoTR which came out much earlier, and LoTR 'stole' from other things before it. They're all borrowed concepts with slight alterations. Quit bitching.

@BoydTheMilkmanX The word "elf" most likely comes from old germanic word "alb" - divine beings in ancient germanic mythology.

Thats also the reason why Tolkien wanted them to be called "elbs" in the German translation of LotR. Just on a side note. ;-)

Not sure, but like the armor in 2:01 COULD be seen as an arrogant challenge to opponents ("here's my heart, hit it if you can"). Granted, it's a stretch. And as for the other stuff, I suppose if the heels are magic and there's other mystical protections, then maybe it can work...or maybe it's just to make it more "interesting" to guys. :P
