@XavierMarciano well, i would formulate the question a bit differently, as Aldrin and Armstrong walked only a few hundred (if that) feet on the surface of the moon and no matter how tiny the moon is in the universe, u can not see all it's corners standing on it's surface, my question is, if that was the case, wouldn't there be SOMETHING left there after a base like that until Today? @jikon28 Actually if you look into it, they stayed there for three days carried out several experiments and covered huge area's of the moon in a lunar buggy. After they came back aldrin became and alcoholic and had a nervous break down, armstrong after three months back left nasa and refused to speak of it for many years. Aldrin has since recovered, armstrong still remains reclusive but gives very rare talks on the moon landing.

Statically, the odds are extremely slim. It seems more likely that another race, at least one, has already been around a lot longer than us, and that such a journey to Earth, for them, would be of but a small feat.

They are heroes but they are pursuing mission impossible. I've seen a UFO, up close, and I had some co-workers who were abducted by the craft which I saw. The idea, however, that any government is going to subvert their own authority and admit this stuff is real (alien existence/visitation) is preposterous. @jikon28 Actually if you look into it, they stayed there for three days carried out several experiments and covered huge area's of the moon in a lunar buggy. After they came back aldrin became and alcoholic and had a nervous break down, armstrong after three months back left nasa and refused to speak of it for many years. Aldrin has since recovered, armstrong still remains reclusive but gives very rare talks on the moon landing.

As someone who has personally witnessed amazing things like what they are speaking of, I find it insane that in our time now, our governments would continue to deny such obvious anomalies. Maybe they want to keep it a secret to prevent social chaos of some sort. Who knows, but I think everyone would be better off if they just came out with it.

Statically, the odds are extremely slim. It seems more likely that another race, at least one, has already been around a lot longer than us, and that such a journey to Earth, for them, would be of but a small feat.

Remember, quantum physics is relatively young and incomplete. Now consider the expanse of time. What is the probability that another civilization, one that you attest exists, would be within 5,000 years of our own technological achievement?

Aye that's a fair point. If other intelligent lifeforms exist throughout the cosmos it is probable that a fair portion are more advanced than we. I suppose this does allow for the possibility of FTL travel.
Still, it inarguable does remain that you're weighing something conceptual - the existence of advanced aliens - against all known physics. I'm willing to concede the possibility is there, but I'm really unsure as it is. There's too much ambiguity on this topic to be certain.

I'm with nlgatewood. It's ridiculous to think aliens have come anywhere near us, if they exist at all. A claim that whilst not unreasonable is still unsupported. In order to actually get here they'd need to move substantially faster than light speed. Something that physics says is impossible.
