So, out of the four of them, Sarah is the most horny. Craig only rushed Sarah because her ex lied about doing it. She pushes Hannah to keep up with Craig and herself, so Hannah comes on strong to JP who is wrestling with conflicting emotions right now.

Then there's the virginity thing, obstacle to teen sex and root of most angst.

Meanwhile, it's possible that JP thinks of Craig in a different way than Craig thinks of him...I haven't seen evidence of this yet, though. So far, just good mates.

Lord you got to feel for both of them. Hannah so into JP and trying to hide from what is clearly in her face.

John Paul trying to make himself feel some sort of attraction to someone who he does like on some level but not the level that they both would like cos I do think JP wanted to like hannah as much as she like him cos he didn't want to feel the way he was feeling.

However hannah does also irritate me with her clinginess towards JP. It's kind of embarassing to watch her behave like this.

Seeing Craig's first time with sarah and John Paul's first time with hannah (and even spike) make me realises how much feeling was going on between them. Craig with sarah and John Paul's first times with hannah (and spike) were nervous and awkward. Of course there was some nervousness between Craig and John Paul but the over riding fact in that moment between them was intense longingness and passion. They just had to give into what ever they were feeling. Just makes me think WOW...

Rewatching this makes me so mad at Sarah and Hannah and all the people who blamed JP for leading Hannah on - he was very clear on how NOT interested he was - just obviously gave in because he was trying to make other people happy. Clearly would have been better to just say no - but the pressure was really on him!

I don't think I have every disliked a character more than Hannah. She's whiney and clingy and manipulative and completely self-absorbed. I know we're supposed to think she's sweet and harmless but I just can't stand girls who are so needy. She too old to behave that way. GUH
