Advanced music theory is much more detailed and goes into the definitions and usage of modes, modulation, as well as transcription. It's just a level of music theory. lol, really, unless you want to be a serious musician, which I'm not, knowing some of this stuff is really horridly unnecessary. I do it for the sake of knowing. haha.
