The problem with Treadmills (IMO) Is that they really limit your stride distance, I mean I'm not a tall guy (5'10") But whenever I run on one I'm always thinking about stride length. On the other hand when I run through my local neighbourhood I just think about how fast I can go for how long, not constantly worrying about overstepping.
