@sebs2306live2 Hi, yes, when I first had the bp vertigo for 21 days, I went to an outpatient rehab where they did it, and it did work. This last time I had it (as discussed in this Oct. 2011 video), I did it myself with my mom here. Wasn't going to do it on my own. Was too afraid to induce it lying back when I was alone. It helped, but not as much as when they did it for me at rehab. Do you have it often?
Been there....and know how you feel. I have issues with it when I have sinus issues. *Everthing goes to my ears* I honestly think mine was caused by using a NETI pot. I was off work for a week and I take motion sickness pills to help. They seem too, but I hear you......It was pure HELL!
I get the same exact symptoms. Something that helps me tremendously was given to me as a tip from a friend. For me, now when I get one of my really bad vertigo attacks, I use Afrin nose spray in both nostrils, trying to encourage it to go toward my ear canals. Afrin usually takes away at least half of the severity, if not all of the vertigo symptoms. It is amazing!!
I have tried other nose sprays and they have not worked like Afrin has. I don't know what it is exactly, but it really helps me!
ive just been recenty diagnosed with this after a really bad ear infection. its pretty scary to me. just yesterday i was walking along, whistling, next thing i know i loose my balance..feel dizzy and almost fall into some bushes.. i wonder if its temporary or if it will eventually just go away... good luck to you and i sure hope your feeling better. helps to know im not alone.
My heart goes out to you - I have had many attacks of this as part of having CFS/ME. It is absolutely horrid and as you say it gets worse lying down.Hope you feel better soon.xxx
I had massive problems with the inner ear for a good ten years with this disease. And definitely if a draft or cold air hit it. Sometimes a heating pad on the ear helps, taking ginger for the vertigo. And I used to use an old folk remedy of taking a warm onion and squeezing the juice into the ear. Totally, gross, but it helps temporarily and it's a disinfectant. I spent years getting the ear problems and so many times I'd get severe pain like someone had a hot poker to my ear. It was hell.
glad that you're being honest. sorry that you're feeling so crappy. i've had that vertigo and it's horrible. i hope it passes soon. sending good thoughts your way.
Have you tried the Epley Manuever at home? It totally worked for me...SERIOUSLY research it !!! :)
