  • ni kainaa ta kware ni sosai!! LOL

  • This song pottrays the ability of Hausa artiste to rub shoulders with the world's artiste. This is good.

    - Babangida Hadejia lawan

  • assalamu allaikum:) mi hidi music do....mairamjo do nandi adda am

  • nice song....

  • It's interesting to see that there a lot of similarities between this Hausa music and North African Rai music.

  • @boloyung99 The Chadic group of languages are spoken near Lake Chad in central Africa. Hausa its Chadic most important tongue with the largest number of speakers, spoken as a first language by about 24 million people, of whom about 19 million live in N Nigeria, 5 million in Niger, and 1 million in Cameroon, Togo, and Benin, and as a second language by about 15 million more. Hausa is widely used as a lingua franca (similar to Swahili in East Africa) in W Africa.

  • @elhajjnour

PLS correct ur figures! Hausa ppl number over 50 million. A single Hausa state of kano (in Nigeria) for example, boasts a population of over 15 million.

  • The Afro-Asiatic languages constitute a language family with about 375 living languages[2] and more than 350 million speakers spread throughout North Africa, the Horn of Africa, and Southwest Asia, as well as parts of the Sahel, and East Africa. It includes such languages as Arabic, Hebrew, Amharic, and Hausa. The major (six) branches of Afro-Asiatic are Semitic, Berber, Egyptian, Cushitic, Omotic, and Chadic.

  • @elhajjnour SORRy but it's NIGER not nigeria long live tyo NIGER good song from niger salam for all my brother and sisters from niger and Algeria also ;-)

  • You might not but the rest of us enjoy it. I can bet you were searching it out stick to your bollywood but the rest of us like this.

  • c'est de quel pays cette musique

  • Nice Song. Keep It Up.

  • This is abosulutely entertaining...any idea where to buy DVDs of such in UK eg Cambridge?

  • What I love about Hausa music is its cultural standpoint. The artists are usually cheerful, dress well and present their songs in the way that that is highly entertaining to thier audience. On the other hand, although most of the themes centre on love, their songs nevertheless attempts to address other aspects of life like the evil of greed and wickedness and the good in sharing and caring for others, irrespective of who they might be.

  • this is good show, but as i read some comments about this video i have seen so many hates that is comming from religious issue, but i will say this to those who believe religion just don't say something about someone's religion if you don't believe it its ok nobody is forcing you to watch it.

  • To anitaalford:This language is spoken in west Africa and is called "HAUSA". Most people from both Niger and Nigeria are speeking Hausa.

It's about love song in this video.

  • Please, somebody tell me what language is this they speaking because i want to learn. They look just like us black people here in Chicago. BEAUTIFUL!!

  • Judge Hatchett traced part of her African ancestry to this group of people.

  • Anita go to the central library in Chicago and ask the clerk for a book on learning Hausa.Probably they may have have some cassettes too..

lf the library here in Downtown Seattle has collections of Hausa books what of Chicago that is a much bigger city .Ecllent language to learn.Spoken mostly in West Africa and the Middle east.

  • This is a Hamito-Semitic language. There is a theory that East Africans brought this to Asia during ancient times but this is Hausa all theirs. There are other Hamito-Semitic languages in North Africa including Chad and other places. Click on a link on my channel to read about the languages.

  • And even by all that I will still fall short to the glory of God.

  • I know this happens but should I use a blanket statement for all Christianity? Nope because there are laws for that and them as well as I should work out my own salvation with the Most! If you are to respect yourself and Islam do the knowledge because if I were a baffoon, I would think Islam is full of haughty, emotional people whom do not own up their own spiritual poverty. Meaning I know I can not do anything if I do not observe and mimic Gods' rightouesness and learn from his appointed.

  • And since I am not mistaken it were the Christians and Islamics whom influenced Afrikans to convert, and for all intents and purposes, against their will. They were called pagans by both sides if they did not convert. And yet you are Islamic and I am Christian. Would someone who was trying to decive speak about their forms of deception, or leave that part out? Nope, and it is at times that the trusted priest, by the people is who causes deception.

  • There is no God but Allah (ONLY-GOD). Islam is a system and a way of life do christians have a method of bathing, eating, sleeping going to the washroom, collecting charity, pilgramige, prayer and Faith in General. You have no way of life thats why Christians use science and innovation to justify their lost way of life. Don't critisize Islam for because of your experiences or because of a Muslim leader who had a hidden agenda and caused corruption on his own behalf.

  • Some Christian must have given you a blanket statement about Islam and the same Christian bible says do not pay and I'm paraphrasing, wrongs with wrongs. Truthfully everything stated here Paul in the Christian word, has done in example. I even recall every Christian church that I attended having Missions, feet washing done for YHWH,baptisms by John, & the list goes on.

  • how many people do you know have seen "god" you stupid spook

  • Islam is not a Arab religion Arabs themselves were converts and did not believe at first but as all the prophets before, Muhammad (PBUH)came with monotheism and proof to support. The Message of the Prophet's messages are the same worship one God and place nothing in worship beside him but the messages gets corrupted by innovation. the book of Islam is not corrupted because Allah declared that he would protect the book and the word.

  • Answer this question why do christians all have different answers if they all read one passage in the bible. why don't Catholics agree with Evangalist why do Christians have so many Cults. You know why? because the message of Christianity is not pure. God never Begot a son Islam brought this message Christianity brought confusion and hiarchy system in terms of Worship you do not even worship One God so how can you even talk

  • Did you forget about the African slave trade so many Africans slaughtered and our Identity

taken away Slaves and Aboriginal peoples of the west commited suicide becuse of this slavery as well as the Europeans forcing the religion of Christianity upon them. I am not African but I am an AFRO-Aboriginal Caribbean women and I am also a convert from Christianity to Islam I am telling you the blacks who are on this side of the world have no society no life because of the christian influence

  • christian predated islam,go get encyclopidia my friend, like i said i have read thru quran and also i have read thru bible,it is a matter of spiritual strenght and the urge to believe if have one.but if aint gat the spirit and the urge to believe, does it comdemned me.who has these right to kill his fellow breath chasing living thing out of perceivism ?

  • You are an Ignorant fool Christianity is so Corrupted and democratic now you don't know what you worship anymore go back in history fool and see who the original terrorist are and who corrupted and destoyed hundreds of Tribes in Africa CHRISTIANS

Islam brought a society and righteousness to blind Ignorants like yourself May ALLAH Guide you Amin

  • you know what, i would never wanna believe you on that issue of if islam is the best.you too you are damn fucking ignorant.you are blind and brain washed, dont ever preach me about islam or anything about religion.have you ever seen allah with your naked eye,or has he ever whisper to you?

  • you are damn fool you too, islamic zombie, did you see allah or shake hands with him today ?you are the one who is and will always be fooled.your next new generation will have the urge of recongnition in other to desspice illusion birth by islam.

  • I will never ever defend no religion.except religion of my mother land africa, which predated this so call miserable islam,Chritian preached about mercy which my people accepted, there was a choice in the ballot box centuries ago which does not

  • i never like music from the nourthern nigeria, wallahi ,malam kei ka ba chow,it remind me of trouble of islam ,a foreign arab merciless religion,ur fore fathers accepted as a matter of ignorance and fear, now for generations and centuries black as hausa, has not only forget their god given religion and has for centuries embarbk on religion of doom .so blind that they are more desired to kill their fellow black bros,in other to honour arabian allah, take allah away from me,just take it only 4 ur selv

  • take that stupid religion call islam away and every thing will be fine,i use to think of danger and also sense danger when ever this music is playing in nigeria kano,i saw blood ,i saw bodies of igbo been hacked off in picies, when all this demonic music sound, this how ifelt as a child at 14 years.sharia is damn crude and wrong

  • they killed and maim my people every time they had the chance.because my people loves them always and wanna forgive every time they kill my people in masses,my people still open arm of love to embrace with real forgiveness, but i still love hausa to death,i love them as an igbo,i did not hate them, there is still alot good about hausas, without islam hausas are one of the most loving people believe

  • Do you not think that there are people who adhere to a religous concept and those who use the same concept for earthly gain? I know Christianity and Islam cast paganism on Afrikans. But should you look at the people for representaives of God or God as representatives of the people?

  • hausa is one of the best language i fell in love with.

  • thank you for sharing your widom with me.

  • Let us rejoice in YHWH together, for it is only by him do I learn wisedom

  • hundred percent agreed with you ,only thru him wisdom does come from, not as the same wisdom the world and the mortal man presumed.wisdom with unlimited knowledge is thru peace inside the mind not fanatism.

  • the northern states should rethink sharia, its inhumane

  • Good video and rythmn. But why do they spoil it with the "crap" synthesizer.

  • beautiful, i love hausa people, you're my people too, even though I'm Igbo!

    One love Naija :)

  • The body movement is in concord with the rhythms. Both Sani Danja and Safiya Isah have done well to potray their expertise.

FROM SANI ABUBAKAR (KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY)

  • Guess lot of player haters out here...ma Hausa/Fulani hommies keep doing ur thing,nd let the haters keep hating ya all.Just keep it real on da voice next time aiight! One luv.Babangida ATL GA.

  • This song would have been great if they had not destroyed it with the fake voice synthesizer. Please sing with your natural voice so we can enjoy this song!!! The beat, the music is fine, but the voices sound terrible.

Are you trying to sound like a computer!!!!

    An ethiopian

  • I totally agree

  • chie!! hausa girl are these sexy?

  • I think it great even though Im English she has a great voice even him.

  • Anyone who can help me find this on LP or CD?

  • what country is this?

  • Nigeria

  • The hausa were not literate before or after colonial rule your hausa idiots cutting each others hands, stoning women oh yeah thats very civilized in the 21st century..dumb Ass, you (Hausa produce absolutely nothing)and thats a fact, hausa bastards!!!

  • I'm not gonna stoop to your level, like I said you're an attention starved, waste of human blood, sorry excuse for a human being.

By the way you should try going to school, it'll do you some good. I have noticed a number of mistakes in your grammar.

    1. "you're Hausa idiots" not "your hausa idiots"

2 "dumb ass" not Dumb Ass

You speak of being civilized in the 21st century yet the word "tolerance" is not in your dictionary. Tolerance, repeat after me!

  • If you know history these people have been civilized a long time ago sine 700 B.C. so get your facts right.

  • Dude, Nobody is forcing you to watch it. And regarding the Hausa being illiterate(Unable to read and write), you have it wrong mate. The Hausa have been literate even pre-colonialism. The Ajami (Look it up)enabled them to write poetry , and keep records. Moreover, the modern day Hausa as we know it (i.e Hausa with Latin Alphabets) came post-colonialism.

You're not worthy of using 9ja in your screen name. You're a disgrace to humanity and a sorry excuse for a human being.Happy?

  • hey man you are also guilty of the same offense you are accusing people of. why didn't you pass your massage across in Hausa language instead of English?

  • wannan waka ta birge ni
