I never took ELO for granted; Jeff and his tearful cry in his gorgeous vocals, a delicious sound of doo wop, classical, and good ole rock n roll, and so epic! I love "So Fine" and "It's A Livin' Thing", and of course "Strange Magic", and so many others. It's just because they were a far cry from Led Zeppelin or The Who. Jeff Lynne and ELO were unabashedly making gorgeous pop tunes!

Oh wow - takes me back, caravan holidays in Weymouth as a spotty 14 year old with all the dress sense of a pubescent Jason King - all flares and waistcoat. @ambermum Kelly was astounding on vocals -- better than most female backup vocalists. An amazing musician and though I grew up with ELO, I didn't realize it was Kelly who had sung all those high falsetto parts. R.I.P. Kelly, we miss you!

Funny! Actually the audio was from the same performance as the video but was actually longer and higher quality than the video's original audio.

Been in love with this band since. They've been with me through two divorces and the death of my third and final husband. Their songs will be with me when I go on, too.
