Basketball remains the worst video game'd out sport of any of the major sports. No one has really been able to capture the flow. Which is why I think games like Arch Rivals (not shown in this vid) and then NBA JAM (the best ever) were so popular... because they didn't try to recreate the actual game.

All my friends and I played Bulls vs. Lakers, and that's what I searched for. The game that gave you warm fuzzes didn't make it into the video.

I like this video. I grew up during the 8-bit and 16-bit eras, and I hate when people let nostalgia blind them into thinking that old games were magically "superior" to newer equivalents...sports games are a prime example of how games have IMPROVED over time. I'll take 2K9 and NBA Street over Double Dribble and NBA Jam any day.
