@Crazyrocksteady They seem to have lost creativity after creating the gun. Or the gun is a turret and all turrets can actually create portals too. And the player - surprise - can SHOOT. Being able to really shoot would take some magic from the game.

Later after the testing area there is a turret repair area with 1 live turret but it won't shoot you. you can pick it up and move it around the room knocking it into the inoperable turrets so you can hear some of the interesting dialog like "Coming through!" I whacked them around for hours many lolz were had just try not to knock it over or I think it turns off for good.
