easy way to do this if you have a million problems gettin on the plane is to go ontop of the bridge that goes from san fierro to the desert outside of venturas, on the san fierro side on top of the pillar is a gatling gun, if you pick it up and shoot the plane, it will have a small explosion and stop, then you can take your time and, hell, even walk up the ramp and rip those feds at the air strip limb from limb

For everyone who can't bike fast enough to catch up to the plane...you have to drive directly behind it, or just a little bit off to the side, in order to catch the slipstream draft. It's what happens when the plane is going really fast, and its shape is laminar enough to cut any turbulence to either side, so if you're behind the draft, you'll get a massive speed boost. The only trick is to not get hit by the barrels rolling out. Thumbs up this so people having trouble with this mission can see.

if you have problems with jumping on the plane on PC,this is how you should do it(thumbs up so everybody can see)

1.Go to graphic options and turn OFF the frame limiter(this will allow full accerlation)

2.When you need to start chasing the plane,while holding W and start accelerating by repeatedly tapping the UP ARROW on your keyboard.This is explained using the controls from the default control setting.
