actually gameplay is amazing...but epic decides to shit on PC gamers. so...they failed. they sure got their pockets full but lost thousands of fans, and still a lot of people still ask "what is unreal tournament?"

What the fuck? Gameplay is pretty much the only thing Epic nailed completely with UT3. I will give you the GUI is absolutely terrible, and that it's riddled with bugs. But the gameplay is just marvelous.

@Michiel89 no, this is the beta of UT3. UT2007 was the name of UT3's beta, like UT2003 was the name of UT2004's beta(UT2003 doesn't exists for epic, it is just the beta of UT2004).

I think UT3's engine was based on UC2's engine, you can see many things in common and by the way, there are UT2004's things in UT2007(beta of Ut3).

@joumenpoonk I have to agree, but UT3 can make fun (only sometimes) as well when there are no spawnkillers or campers in the online match. I hate them! They scare all players off!

@strikerk My system can handle the game very well. I played every UT this is the worst UT. It was a flop like Unreal 2 was.

Contra: Anyone playin UT is old because UT will be always an oldschool shooter doesn't matter which UT! :P

@100GPing100 sorry about responding to my post, I said that UT3's engine was based of the UC2's engine, but it isn't, UC2 was released whille UT3 was being developed, so the UC2's engone is and improved UT2004's engine, wich would them be trasformed into the UT3's engine.

I believe no characters were excluded for this installment of the series. In opposed to that, they added an immense number of new characters (with different personalities) instead of procrastinating any. Fareleth, Canonball, Arclite (all the good looking humans and humanoid are my favs.). Hope to see everyone including the people I love to kill return as well as these new peices of meat to come.

they should be there were so many fucked up characters in ut2k4 fucked up maps and fucked up weaker weapons but they have alot of them but there are a select exceptions that were awesome

The weapons were probably weaker because they wanted most of the attention on the new implementation of vehicles. The maps were probably made to account for the vehicles. The characters? I don't know, but this one should have better, hopefully. Wraith has return and I hope they're others who has too. This UT3 is promising regardless.

I heard the ending for UT3 is fucked up and there is an indication for a next UT to come (a continuation of some sort). Hopefully, UT 2010/2011 would be more promising than this one. Epic may be aware of their short coming, and would probably try to redeem themselves with the next UT. Try to "blow us away", you know? Epic have a propensity to deliver the goods so....I'm positive UT4 would be killer, with some new weapons too (hopefully).

The campaign is fucked up, but hey, UT is about online matches and bot battles. Not campaign levels. (Nice try Epic) This UT has the goods when it comes to that so your paper wouldn't burn in vain I believe.

If you know of the unreal tournament series you would have realize that it's the style of the game to have it's trailer like this. That's the same voice who announces everything that's going on in the game like : which flag was captured and the amount of people you incredibly killed at once. Get it now? He's announcin' everything to come in UT 3 in this trailer. LOL! It's a kinda irony. If gears of war trailer was like this however, then I see how the cheesiness comes in.

I dont think that this can beat Ut2003 or 2004 i think that ut 2003 Rules its the best shooting game i was ever plaing (or Avp2 for Singleplayer) I just hope that there will be thouse good old characters like Aliens Egyptians Robots and more + some new races

My favorite is Selig(Alien race) in Ut 2004 it was kind of weard with thouse machines but still Ut2003 is my favorite.
