After typing Mortal Kombat in the search bar i'm not surprised i got to your combo videos. Funny thing is that i normally hate Mortal Kombat. However i got into Mortal kombat with MK9 and i believe that i have you to thank for this so thank you for getting me into MK and fighting games in general.

Check plays better as Kug Lao, but Jax is the new #1, without being OP'D. Kung Lao is not OP'd either.

@cisme113 according to the forums and experience, mileena has string advantage against reptile, that was my point, but I get yours too. I main her and loved her since she first started but so many complain over her. IMO and experience, she's one of the easiest characters to punish. Her specials are what make her fast but when blocked, it's punishing time. Her normals are slow and can poked or uppercutted in between

Then there comes players that abuse the moves, people complain, they get patched a bit, players that use them complain, more tweaking...and so on. The game shouldn't have come out when it did

well this game is balanced in the same way rock paper scissor is balanced. characters have their good and bad matchups. you can't say rock is op just because it beats scissor everytime but the fact that this games has some characters that are like "super scissors" that render other "scissor" characters obsolete does make this game a bit unbalanaced

@SFtheWolf ehhh there are tier lists for a reason. If the game was balanced there wouldn't necessarily be any. Try using Sindel or Jade against Raiden or Cyrax. Or Reptile against Mileena. This game is not balanced, it's getting there, but it still has a good amount of things to fix to call it balanced. Sadly though, a lot of players especially online stick to the top tier guys. I personally do choose my favorites but it's an annoying challenge to beat those with advantage

@spikecrunchytooth1 Even balanced games have tiers. Tiers are listed strictly to list a characters dominance in competitive play. A tier list DOES NOT measure a game's balance. VF4:Evo even had a tier list, and everybody who's ever been to a major for that game agreed that game was balanced. Marvel vs Capcom 3 doesn't have an official tier list. But it's FAR from balanced! With that logic, tiers have nothing to do with judging if a game is balanced or not.

Is this really an exploit though? I'm pretty sure Shang's morphback is supposed to be punishable, so it only stands to reason that you can use it as a combo reset.

Shang is great but the morph is supposed to be a attack boost, I mean you won't morph to block until the time is over, but its still a horrible bug

@pyroloko97 smoke is definitely quite a good character. He's got a nasty nasty high damage reset (just like cyrax), has the fastest overhead in the game (b2 15f), a quick teleport, invincivility, good footsies, pokes, invincibility, air control, etc etc.

The game is probably the most balanced this generation. Don't pick your main based on tiers, play who you like. You can win with anyone.
