@XmXFLUXmX2 I wouldn't say it's a result of the 90's, specifically. In '96, Bungie was a tiny dev team, and they self-published their games. I'd expect you'd find a similar atmosphere in small indie dev studios from any decade (though they are decidedly less common now, the games industry is a publishers market).
Before Bungie and Apple turned traitor. When Macintosh's still used in-house developed operating systems and 68k and PPC hardware. When Bungie was still a small company developing games exclusively for Macintosh without Micro$oft's tight grip on their beautiful company.
Its amazing to think, in just 5 short years of filming this, their triumph Halo:Combat Evolved will be launching for the original Xbox, cementing the Xbox's success and creating an amazing franchise that will thrive well into the next decade.
"Oh, here's Matt. He does all of our tech support and phone calls and whatnot." Oh, and in a few years in the future he'll end up writing a ton of our Halo 1 script! =P
Alex Seropian left, and started a development studio of his own, called Wideload Studios. Jason is still at bungie. He is the creative director for the studio, and is working on their next unrevealed series.
@R1gaT0ny I pretty sure jason jones has retired. As for Alex Seropian, he is the mind behind Stubbs the Zombie. Great game... you should check it out.
@nikantro80 Jason has definitely not retired. His name didn't appear in the Halo 3 or ODST credits because he wanted it that way for publicly unknown reasons, but he's still at Bungie, still steering the ship.
What ever happened to the original team are they still employees of bungie or have they moved on?

Seems like the 90's were much more laid back. They are all just lounging around in an empty Bungie building with T-shirts and shorts.

Is Doug Zartman still there?
I think my friend played Halo 3 with him if that's true.
FYI, my friend beat him.

Are Jason Jones and Alex Seropian actually still actively involved in Bungie Studios?
I've seen Jason on some Winter Pentathlon pictures but there was no trace of Alex.

@R1gaT0ny Jason is still there. I think he's working on Bungie's secret project. Seropian left around 2004, to start his own studio Wideload Games.
