  • Short lived, massively hard rocking band. Saw them at The Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY in 1989, absolutely rocked, so glad I got to see them.

  • Why some idiots swear Eddie Trunk?? If he likes this band, what's your problem??

  • Blue Murder is FU$KING AWESOME!!! Have personally burned several cassettes of this EPIC music out!!! John Sykes takes a backseat to no one when it comes to singing and playing that Les Paul!!! Super Group of MONSTERS Musicians!!!

  • @TheShredfester They really were a super group, each member contributing elite skills and unique experiences, making great f**king rock music.

  • Eddie Trunk is one of the biggest douches in the universe! He wouldn't know good music if it came up and bit him on the ass!I'm not trolling, just stating a fact!

  • It may be just me but if you listen the last few minutes of the song it sounds like some of the music from HALO. Love the entire album/tape/cd....burned through them all. Very underrated. They play music like it was intended...loud, in your face, and they actually play their instruments. Metal is not dead, its just that the music companies dont want it to exist in mainstream for some reason. Dont make any sense anymore. Id rather listen to this cd everyday than whats on the radio today.

  • 1989 , really ??? Holy cow ! Time does fly ... I feel 20 years younger when I listen to this tune!

  • fucking amazing album that sex child song is well dogey tho but sure all the hairmental bands seemed to have a song like that

  • Eddie Trunk talked about this band so much i had to take a listen, thanks Eddie

  • What a shame that this band never made it huge, IMO this album is much more worthy to Whitesnake's s/t album than Whitesnake's "Slip Of The Tongue" album

  • Hmmmm...interesting twist of the Purdie/Bonham shuffle by Carmine Appice here. ...and it is my belief that John Sykes can do no wrong musically.

A band and album that NEVER received the credit they deserve.

  • I don't know why, but I never heard of this song until I heard it on XM yesterday.....ROCKS!

  • @richiek1976 Was it on Hair Nation?

  • @Doobie1975 I have no idea....sorry.

  • If you like his tone! get the Gibson Dirty Fingers Humbucker! its in his black Les Paul!

  • If you like his tone! get the Gibson Dirty Fingers Humbucker!

  • First time I heard this song. Dig it. Like the rhythm section.

  • I always consider Blue Murder as the follow up on Whitesnake´s great album 1987.

  • @parafleet roll with it or get rolled over motherfucker

  • @parafleet : Well. You ARE entitled to your opinion (even if it is entirely unfounded and full of douchefaggedness). But 1. You're just trying to get a rise out of people b/c that's how you get off. and 2. If you'd go get the jizz out of your ears from that bukakke party you were at right before you heard this song, maybe you'd be able to hear some incredibly talented musicians making good music. Fag.

  • @DBerry80 I don't get off at all. Everything is dull to me. One.

I respect this music. I respect all music..even flatulence. Two.

My expressed-opinion was a momentary emotionally dramatic rise in temper. It wasn't meant to humiliate this music, these musicians, or its/their admirers. Three.

Your use of the word "fag" makes me wonder if you have ever been to Australia or carried a bundle of sticks on your back in Elizabethan England. Four.

  • @parafleet : I like your style. Occasionally I hate on bundles of sticks.

  • @parafleet fuck u pig. go listen to ur justin beiber, fagget cocksucker

  • @alisimon5 I admit, I may have been a bit wrong. But, allthesame, I was a bit right as well.

I believe that Eddie Trunk is reliving the glory of his youth by spreading the propagandistic nonesense that every guitar-based band of the '80's and '90's was "classic." Capiche?

  • @parafleet i know exactly what you mean. But still. dont take everything he says like that. These guys are sweet. I only discovered them recently and not through eddie trunk so maybe thats why you think that.

  • @ShreddinThrash That is good advice. I always admit that I am probably more wrong than right. Sometimes the difference is subtle and even I become confused.

  • @parafleet your a fucking homoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • @acoustamaniac Your hair is sagging. More Aqua Net.

  • @parafleet Some of us know good blues/rock when we hear it, we don't need our VH1 guru to tell us what to like. You, on the other hand, probably need Eddie Vedder to tell you what's "cool".

  • @ChurchOfTheWay Where did you learn all of that?

    On an Aqua Net label?

  • Thank you for posting this song. Saw these guys at The Chance in Poughkeepise, NY when they toured, killed! Loud, heavy, balls out.

  • great drums, fuuuck

  • @marisagunsnroses87 The drums, the beat make this song stand out, no question.

  • JUST WATCHED CARMINE APPICE ON "THAT METAL SHOW" WHAT A GREAT GUY AND ASUPER DRUMMER.

  • Honestly, I've heard thousands of different albums in my lifetime, and this one still ranks in my top 5!

  • only tyler pennock would like this shit!!!

  • ...Wild...

  • I love this song! Why is it so hard to find this song/album anywhere? The whole sound (vox/guitars/bass/drums) is brilliant.

  • how have i gone so long without knowing about this band, thank you for reppin it on that metal show eddie trunk!!

  • @bksunset30 Haha exactly. So many bands that I love right now are thanks to Eddie. Eddie is a legend and people like myself at 26 missed bands like Blue Murder when they came out and since the general public didn't accept them I rely on Eddie to make sure I'm not missing anything!

  • i bought this album when it came out, freaked when i seen it was released 89,god im gettin old lol

  • The way Sykes makes it sound like he's using a whammy bar when he doesn't have one is simply superb

  • Ahh a brilliant revisit to when I discovered this metal masterpiece in mid 1990 when my at the time gf suggested to check it out....what a power groove Carmine lays down here and all the tracks stand on their own...lovely production esp guitar and sykes really does have some killer chops...thank u for the listen..gonna rebuy the CD..cheers

  • Blue Murder is like Whitesnake on steroids! I Like every song on this album, Jellyroll not so much ( It's OK for me). But man I wish the bass was mixed louder somehow, that awesome fretless bass playing makes it more modern sounding. Sykes is super jamming!

  • @9pixals Dude if you like the bass check out their song "RIOT". Track 1. Somewhere about halfway through it breaks down and the bass is relentlessly badass. Just keep rewinding it and listening to it over and over. haha AND THANKS FOR CHECKIN IT OUT!

  • @DBerry80 Dude I couldn't agree more Riot is one of my favorite tracks and I play guitar but the bass is incredible

  • monster solo dude can shred

  • john sykes blue murder 2 cds 1989 and 1993 SO GOOD MUSIC

    hard rock HEAVY METAL yeahhh

  • underrated. awesome album
