  • @hfugmann Tusind tak for din kommentar! Dejligt, at du kan lide nummeret... :o)

  • Belissimo!

  • A year on and I still consider this the best user made track that wouldn't sound out of place somewhere on the Oxygene album :)

  • @Yorkshirelad69 Thanks a lot for posting this great comment. :o)

  • I love this piece & sound !

    Great !

  • @voigthaus Thanks a lot for you comment... :o)

  • Absolutely love the sound and the composition. It could be Jean for all I care ;D

    Nicely done toxygeneDK!

I'm working on getting this Eminent as we speak... just need to gather that little money € -, 150.

I have many synths but I am missing a few originals strings sounds and this is one of them.

  • @ProbTron Thank you very much for your great comment on this track. :)

You sure need to get an Eminent 310. Connect it to a Small Stone Phaser, add some delay and you are very close to heaven :)

  • @toxygeneDK

Done that :) Finaly found the Original Small Stone in perfect condition. (few weeks ago) and having fun with it as we speak.

  • @ProbTron That's great to hear...

Enjoy these awesome vintage instruments :o)

  • @ProbTron

Oh yeah, and I got the Eminent 310 Theatre Unique in perfect condition. She sounds pure Heaven!!! Check my channel for a few samples.

  • Excellent tribute! Bravo! The end is magnificent.

  • Fantastic sound ! i love it

  • @laurenzo42 Thanks a lot for you comment. :)

  • @Ivanspaintingdotcom :o) lol...) Very interesting comment... I need to try that...

    Have a great evening... :)

  • I absolutely love this. Wish Jarre would hark back to the Oxygene days and do more like this....

  • @mikkdc Thanks a lot for you nice comment... :)

  • Incredible!!!! You use the string ensemble Eminent 310, the same instrument that JMJ was composing the Oxygene album in 1976? The sounds are fantastic, the bassline and the whole track is excellent! Very nice work! (and much more professional, indeed). (I hope someday I'll found some samples as refill on my Reason software...)

    Keep up!!!!

  • @WolfBackGR Yes, it's the same very same instrument JMJ used when composing Oxygene... It is still being used by him... :)

Thank you very much for your comment. I'm glad that you like this track... :)

    Have a great & sunny weekend * * * * *

  • I cant stop listen to this track. The more I listen to it the more I looove it. The chords, the bassline and all the rest is perfect. I hope Jarre listen to it and have it like an guest track on one of his upcoming album... You should be proud to have made such a jarre look alike track. I´m telling you.. Great work

  • The 310U and the small stone were made for each other and should have been built into the Eminent as standard lol.

Now, stop trying to buying up all the remaining Eminents and leave some for the rest of us! ;)

  • Hi Andy,

    LOL... ;)

No standard available back in the 70's...

    Sadly I don'nt have a Moog synth.

  • Ah yes, can't really miss out on that Eminent sound. I suppose you're putting it through the Smallstone phaser too?

  • Thanks a lot for you comment :)

I evny you that you have a Synthex... *****

    :)

  • I always love the Jarre's sounds, specially from oxygen (and equinoxe), and i think you're rescue the essence of that music in this piece, it is really beautiful. It's difficult to find other similar sounds to those unique pices by Jean Michele Jarre, even in his later works.

Thanks for share your music with us and continue doing this kind of music.

  • Thank you very very much for your comment. I'm glad you like this track.

Your comment makes me very proud! :)

  • I have commented your question in a mail to you. :o)

  • And thank you for your mail. I'm glad you like my music. * * * * * :)

  • He knows me too ! I was almost sure it's his stuff.

  • cool :o)

  • These eminents from 3:20 are in a warehouse in the Netherlands ? This pic looks familiar.

  • The mentioned picture is taken by my friend Peter from the Netherlands.

    (youtube profile "Peter160266" )

Peter and a friend buy, restore and sell these Eminents organs.

  • That huge pile of Eminents at 3:20 - what is that? A warehouse full of organs, a museum, or the musical equivalent of the elephant graveyard?

  • It's a warehouse :o) (garage) full of Eminents. The picture is from the place where i bought my E310's.

THESE EMINENTS ARE ALL FOR SALE

    (AND IN GOOD CONDITION TOO).

  • This is both fresh and vintage!! Great melody! Superb tune indeed!

    Best

    Harlem Nights

  • thank you for your comment. :o)

The title of this track has later been renamed to "Vintage - part 1"...

  • :o) thanks (again) :o)

  • i bought a 310 yesterday!! i cant wait to get it :-D

  • Wonderful composition!

May I ask how did you create that special "trrr" percussion sound? (also heard on the "Oxygene" track by Jarre)

  • Thanks... :o)

The "trrr" sound percussion is called "Quijada" and comes from the Korg Keio Minipops 7 rythm machine.

It's the same MP7 that is being used by JMJ on Oxygene/Equinoxe...

  • Many thanks for your answer!

It drove me crazy not knowing where this distinct

    percussion sound came from. :-)

    Keep up the excellent work!

  • turn off the lights...cranck it up....indulge your soul into the music...beautiful just beautiful.....A*****

  • Thanks for your ***** comments :o)

  • Thanks,(again) :o) I'm glad you like this track.
