ok nothing to do with the content of the video yes i know... but i must find out... what is the exact name and artist of the song playing .... i have been searching for ages for this version with little success
other then that the content is rather good for educational purposes
It's l'amour est un oiseau rebel. It's an aria in Carmen, the Opera by Georges Bizet. It's a shareware from youtube. I'm not sure of the name of the orchestra. Youtube does not provide the name of the conductor.
In real conflict, withdrawal is a primary strategy. For example, in a famous middle-east conflict, Iran has withdrawn. If they have not sought a third-party, however; they have threatened to take commercial nuclear waste and concentrate into military grade material. This could be characterized as withdrawal and move unilaterally. I think "withdrawal" is the correct characterization.
Upon further reflection, I realized third party solution is part of "conflict resolution methods" (I am preparing a video which is coming very soon). This video is about "conflict management strategies." Conflict resolution methods (which include third parties) and conflict management strategies are related but different. Thanks!
I like the four quadrant analysis. You're missing another alternative that is often used which isn't quite avoidance: withdrawal. I say it isn't quite avoidance because using the withdrawal strategy you find and negotiate with a third-party to get your needs met through an independent alternative.
After further reflection, i realized that by definition, withdrawal cannot be d right word 4 your gr8 input. A better term could be "third-party representation." d word withdrawal does not & cannot assume third-party representation. thankx 4 your feedback w/c led 2 my further reflection on d subject.
Your opening colours in this conflict management training freaked me out!

@goldenguardoriginal Am not sure whether you are still interested in the answer but this "habanera" from the Opera "Carmen" by Georges Bizet.

StillDesigns,
In a real conflict, winning is the only way!
LOOSERS, on the other hand, get into unwinnable conflict!
On top of that, LOOSERS that refused to face the TRUTH will always LOSE in our world!
