@Mephistocbrxx11 Man, new one are so much better than old ones, easier around town, very reliable, and they are for real riders dude, yeah not easy to pick up - but the more you push it - the better it becomes!! :-)
@motorcycleluke Man i have at this clas a b-king whoo have full ohlins ,brembo, micron etc.(bike cost 30.000 euros) , like ducati have in fact .... so tell me about ducati monster:)))))
@Mephistocbrxx11 Dude.. you sound so stupid. Do your research. Ugly is your opinion, useless "its a sports motorcycle" buy a truck if you want usefull!! Where's your evidence of modern Ducati's being unreliable? Expensive? You can get a brand new 1100 for around 11,000. Often maintenance? Factory service intervals on a monster are every 7500 miles!!! How is that often? Its' only hard to ride if you just learned how to ride a bicycle!!
@rlvilleman No dude you sound stoopid.Ugly it is .....just look at it ....horibile and is not a sport bike is a naked bike a tourer like v-max or b-king wich is in the same clas but those are good bikes and a bike with 2 cam belts cad be reliabile. Valve clearence interval is 7500km not miles vs 50.000km for b-king for example and cam belts kit interval is 15-20.000 km or 2 years and.Valve clearence + cam belts kit cost 6-7ooo euro and that is maintanence cost for a year!!!!i do 20.000 easy
@rlvilleman At 7500 km is VERY often service intervals.....don't mention that stoopid cluch wich must be replaced at evry 20-25000 km.SO YES IS VERY NOT RELIABILE WITH VERY OFTEN MAINTANENCE. I have 7 bikes and for b-king for example service interval for valve clearence is 50.000 but can do 60-65000 easy without braking the engine like ducati do.I know all this because i have a workshop ane i do service for all bikes....is my job
Great review and biased as hell, but that's how it should be riding a Ducati. It's about soul, passion blabla. I own an 848 and just riding it makes you feel special. It's not júst a bike, it's something different alltogether.
I remember when a mate of mine said: I just bought a Ducati 749 and I told him that he was insane, but a few months later I bought the 848 =P It's just not rational but at least you will be happy everytime you start it up and ride it! =D
@danijeeves Maintenance fella, I only get for a week normally! It's a Ducati, so its not the cheapest obviously, but fuel consumption is around 40mpg fella!
@colla848 Nah, from what I've read about the engine character, surging, and other issues below 4000rpms, it's exactly the opposite from what I like and want from a bike.
ugly ,usseles, not reliabile, expensive and offten mantenance bad position, hard to ride........................DUCATI

Snowboarding lessons? In the UK? In March?
Good luck in the next Olympics, mate. You'll do at least as well as Eddie the Eagle.
