Use the paint, not the chalk, on the infield dirt.
When you get to either first or third base, do what they did, but afterwards, paint a little on the outside of the bag, to give the impression that the line is there the whole time.
To make home plate (even the pitching rubber) look awesome, take the can of spray paint and paint home plate and the rubber and paint it white. That's what they do at Fenway Park.
