  • Thank you for this vid. I had lavender honey from an apiary and wanted to know if I could make it with my dried lavender at home, or if I had to use fresh lavender/lavender oil. This stuff is the bomb in green tea. Delish!

  • Any other herbs/flower that we can fuse with honey other than lavendar..??

  • Ok I love this channel. I love any video that can make me hungry lol!

  • wow, thanks for this vid!!

  • Yum! What a wonderful idea! I'm going to start some tomorrow!

  • An easy way to strain an infused honey is to warm it in a water bath or pop it in the microwave (without any metal lids, folks!) until it's the consistency of water....makes it a dream to pour and strain into a clean jar!

  • after watching this about a month a go,,i made this infused honey, it taste very good i had never though about infusing honey till i watch your vid, thank you

  • Another great video. One ? Is there any reason you used a plastic lid on this mason jar versus the normal metal?

  • Has anyone tried making those hot and/ or cold herb massage or soothing packs / wraps for back, cold, sinus etc. I can't find a video on how to make it. It seems straight forward, but i'd feel come comfy if i saw a video first.

  • just made a video of me infusing lavender!! Got it from my grandmas recipe book, but you guys reminded me!! lOVE your youtube channel and will be buying stuff from you!! thanks so much for all your info!!

  • Another AWESOME video! Thank you. You're an excellent, thorough and patient teacher. God bless you.

  • Just finished making some. Wow! Simply Fantastic stuff. Thanks John and Mountain Rose Herbs for the video.

I used raw honey. When it was time to strain out the flower buds, I simply warmed up the honey by sitting the jar in a bowl of hot water until the honey was thin enough to ooze through the sieve,. Had to rewarm the honey a couple of times, since I ran it through the sieve in batches.

And the lavender tea idea was great tasting too! Thanks PulkTriumf --

  • I've made dif flavor honeys b4 so yummy!

  • can one do this with raw honey too?

  • "Clean the sides with a cloth" my backside! He licked his finger, you can hear it! LOL! (I would have done the same thing.)

  • haha the ending is so cheezy

  • "mystery remedies" lol

  • Here's a tip to get the most out of all your ingredients: Don't toss the flowers after you're done with the infusion. I actually just add boiling water to them to make a tea. Lavender was my favorite but rose was also delicious. Also, don't use too much lavender flowers for the tea or it will taste a bit bitter. YEAH! :)

  • We have an AWESOME bee keeper in our area. We get 1 gallon of raw, organic blackberry honey for $30 at our local Denio's flea market.

  • Looks easy and yummy!

    Thank you for the video!
