If you're making a lot of web I would use an air compressor. You can use rubber cement or low melt glue in a glue gun.

  • Could this be done on a giant scale for a monster wed using an industrial fan?

  • Awsome , Thank you so much for making this video I'm going to make one for this year.

  • Thanks for making the only good video on the topic on the entire YouTube.

  • What size is the little drill bit? I usued one about the size of a piece of lead from a mechanical pencil. It seems to be to small. The stream of rubber cement is so thin that it tends to fly-away from the wind from the fan blade. I have to be very delicate with the speed of the drill (drill is 0-2500RPM).

Great Video. Very detailed. Thank you, this is just what I was looking for. Please post more Halloween How To's.

  • How many people were waiting for him to pull the trigger at 3:29?

  • In a special on television had seen a strange gun that used the heated sugar. Can you explain how it works?

  • I'd chop my arm off using it...no- REALLY.

  • REALLY COMPLIMENTS FOR YOUR ORDER?

YOU SHOULD MAKE A SITE WITH ALL YOUR ALL YOUR GLUE THAT YOU USED ingenious ideas?

You could use the sugar dissolved O HEATED?

  • Do you know if the web glows when you light it up with a black light???

  • Im an avid prop build and just let me say i LOVE your shop so neat and organized its perfect!

  • Nice..

  • awesome! thanks for the tutorial...just what ive been looking for!!

  • The faster the drill the smaller the hole and likely the finer the web.

Definitely use a high speed drill and not some cheap 12v cordless!

One of these shoots we should see how your air powered die grinder would work, hey Levi?

  • Will contact cement work or does it have to be rubber cement

  • @hfxscotsman33 i would not use contact cement, rubber cement is designed to be a removable adhesive so i cleans up easily

  • How hard is that stuff to clean up ? If I use it in a home for a party

  • @hfxscotsman33 you can clean up the glue as easily as cleaning up real cob webs

  • Awesome, thanks for the help

  • what size fan blade is that, and where might i find it have looked at the depot lowes and osh, and how many holes do you need to drill in the container thanks and have a frightful halloween

  • @brettlorijames i believe it's a 6" fan for duct work. i bought mine a farm supply store "Princess Auto" but i'm sure that you can find one at a heating and air conditioning supplier. two holes in the container. first one gets plugged by the bolt. the second (the very tiny one) lets the glue out. i tried more, but just ended up with too much glue coming out.

  • You put the fan on backwards...

  • @mbunds yes we did. i eventually twisted the blades in the opposite direction for the correct air flow.
