sony dsp sound chip in the snes. sorrie had to correct myself. yeah I Heard both the genesis and snes tracks. Amazing how much difference it sounds. snes sonds almost like cd quality but at that time it was all in a small cart so the music cant be long. Another good music on snes is actraiser and actraiser for people who likes yuzo koshiro. FFIV(final fantasy IV) or ffVI sounds awesome too. Check them out
The snes music and voice quality is so much better on the snes my god. But the genesis version is still good for people who owns the genesis verison. But in the end its still turrican so its all good. :). Reason the snes sounds so good cause of the snes dsp chip. Man I have to admit super turrican is prob one of the best or near the best soundtrack on the snes. But I know it shits on most tracks back in the days. even todays :).
Well the voice is sligtly scratchy but I love the MD music and sounds, it's got more of an edge to it (without hurting the ears like some other MD games did). Super Turrican is also a very different game IIRC.

Yeah not bad - I prefered the Amiga versions on most games the sounds and music were superior. The ending music is pretty cool for this game if I remember rightly.
