I like this exercise. I do it lying on the flat bench completely tho and arch my back slightly
I feel like it works the inner chest area as well as the muscles under the armpit. As for the rib cage I definately feel a stretch so you could say it works it out. Overall I did get more definition doing this exercise but I am interested in trying this form approach.
All your other videos are great but this one is misleading. The model should not be bending his elbow when the DB goes past his head. Instead there should be a slight bend in the elbow and that bend/angle should be kept the same through the workout. Also this exercise does not involve the chest. It's a pulling movement and should have no pecs involvement at all. This exercise should work the lats and serratus exclusive if done right.

Buff does not mean they completely know what they are doing. The trainer in the video juices, and this exercise is supposed to be primarily a back and serratus exercise
its so confusin when i see a guy with that body doing the workout "the wrong way" ( but with very gd results) im thinkin that as long as u feel the work on the muscle then ur doing it the right way..
@somedudey0 You are right, there's skinny guys at my gym looking at me funny when I don't have that famous "perfect form", As long as you feel that you are hitting the muscle you want, you'll be okay.

Should this be avoided for people with shouylder injurys??? Also what part of the chest does it work? If it does not work the upper inner chest then im not gonna add it to my routine.
