  • Excuse me, I will be building my own rig soon and I would like to know how much the computer costs because I am on a $1200 budget. Your rig seemed to run this great! Thanks.

  • @Daze2099 Thanks! My own rig is around the 7000$ mark now. Partly because i keep swapping stuff out every month or so. But you can get a decent air cooled rig with an FX processor for cheap.

  • @neooneeightytwo ok thanks again. I think I will buy it. I'm not sure betwen the Fx 8150 and the I5 2500k. ok I subscribe ;).

  • @neooneeightytwo thanks for your answer, the FX 8150, is it real good ? (What's the usage in game ?). Sorry for my bad english =(. Nice gameplay ! =)

  • @MaiTayFoX Love my FX 8150. It goes to about 30% usage in BF3. ;) Keep an eye on my videos i will make a video of my rig very soon.

  • Settings and FPS?

  • @THEMynamesdDJ Ultra 60.1FPS when not recording.

  • does your processor get very hot?

  • @STR4P4Zi3 I can't say that it does. It hovers around 25-30 degrees celsius. When i am gaming it goes 35-38. It is watercooled.

  • amd fx 8150 or intel core i5 2500k? (for gaming)

  • @buzz9961 personal opinion here. I'm neither a bigger fan amd than intel. As long as it performs well. I think you will end up paying substantially more for intel components. I got my cpu @ 250$ mobo 130$ ram 85$to give you an idea.

  • hey can you give an advice,i play battlefield 3 too on my pc but my pc specs are very low . 2 core prosseros 2.6GHz , 512 mb video card memory ati radeon 3870 , 2gb ram ...and my question is to have better fps performance which thing to update first, the video card , or my GPU ?

  • @erasser1996 Hello! I'll try my best to help you out. please send me an email at smgnut AT hotmail DOT com.

    Thanks.

is this a laptop or desktop?

If its a desktop you could overclock your processor a little bit by getting a better cooling solution. I would get more ram straight away as this is the cheapest upgrade. I just got 16Gb for 84$ (that doesnt mean your computer supports that much though!) And then change GPU. ATi 6000 should be dropping in price next month or so. Cheers!

  • @erasser1996 your gpu is your video card lol

  • @SentinalZero

    sorry i meant CPU

  • Just picked up the XFX 6950 2Gig for $219 on Ebay. Purchased specifically for BF3, and I'm coming from a 6770, so this should be a huge change in performance. Cool video, and nice flying.

  • @Equatis Thank you. The 6950 should serve you well. If your system is clocked correctly and everything is optimized like me i get a constant 60.1 frames a second with Vsync enabled and ultra settings. (Which is weird you would think id get a higher FPS with Vsync off...) Anyway good luck! =)

  • Iam Think about it to buy it and iam a litte bit unknowing about true performance of the cpu i read good and bad stuff about it and what i learn is ask people who use it ;-)

  • Thanks for answer iam very interesting to buy a FX 8150 can you tell me more maybe pn?

  • @kulafrags Hi again , well what do you need to know?

I currently have this processor clocked at 4.5Ghz and it performs quite nicely.

I am cooling it with an XSPC Rasa 450 custom kit. 360 rad.

I have more pictures of my setup just google search "Nova Bloodscream"

It is entered in Xoxides build of the month for November.

I will upload a video once i am done fine tuning the way i want it to be setup.

I would like to add a few more things , quick disconnect fittings aswell as a more powerful pump

  • Can you tell me how many frames you had?

  • @kulafrags Hi there. I get a constant 60.1 FPS when i am gaming in BF3. When recording with FRAPS it drops to 30FPS. There is an option to record at 60FPS but i have not yet tried. Cheers. :)

  • ^^ Very cool!!!

  • Best piloting I've seen.
