This is the early 80s version of Pop Idol. If you watch X Factor or Britian's Got Talent now, then you would have been watching this in the 1980s and loving it. I was 5 years old when this came out and I was probably the target market. I still didn't like it. Even at the age of 5, I was too sophisticated for the humour of Russ Abbott and Les Dennis. People give out about the modern world but Cannon and Ball, Russ Abbot and Little & Large were terrible in the 80s. Good riddance.
