Ah memories.. I went from playing Ultima Online to Everquest.. It didn't take hours upon hours to clear stuff and you could always find people that would welcome some company.. Wow is just full of stupid, illiterate tards that never grew up or still live with their parents even though they are old enough to be on their own. I miss the Classic days of EQ. Everyone loved a Cleric :D Love the original classic interface..

@Gilbs2211 Luclin did not ruin the game. Nothing ruined the game. Its an excellent game from the start back in 1999 and still now today 11 years later. Nothing wrong with the game... it just got old.

@Gilbs2211 Everyone has a different opinion on it: but some think it was the Nexus that provided eas(ier) transportation, or the remodelled player characters, or the addition of the Vah Shir race + Beastlord class and the AA system. It was one of the biggest changes for EQ. Luclin didn't ruin it for me in my opinion, but everybody points at a different expansion. In the end, we all just want to feel the nostalgia of logging into EQ in 1999.

People started to become loot whores and only cared about getting the best gear and would kill their mother and father for it.

@gondule I was around for Classic EQ and Pre BC WoW... And I'll have to say that they were both in their prime at those times. I'd love to play Classic EQ and Pre BC once again :)

When I went Back to (InfectedPaw) splitpaw at level 65 and I was time Geared from planes of Power expansion I went back to Kick some ass there ,I got my ass handed to me by Elemental Mobs there and I was Like oh what in the hell!.

Oh and I meant 2005 I mean when I was timed geared from Planes of Power expansion.

Now I can go there and kill the elementals on my own, sadly the drawback is every 7 to 10 fights I have to sit n heal for a few min lol.

Ah i remember goin there at level 40 and was in a group whare half the times we got our asses Kicked .

Then a year later when Planes of Power came out and I was level 65 (top maxed level at the time) I went back and Killed that whole zone even Killed King Splitpaw himself loot the Breastplate and legging he dropped to sell in bazaar and made my uber cash then.

sadly in 2007 SOE fucked it all up and Revamped it calling it InfectedPaw.

LOL I remember the Classic interface... seems like ages ago! There was a way then you could create a character, drop your items and then log in another character fast and pick up the items (old school transfer) even money.

@pickard72 lulz i used to do that also when i couldnt find a friend on to help me xfer , i member once tho i was in butcherblock and it was like , shit 3 am my time with hardly anyone in zone and i hid behind some trees , dropped a bag full of items, logged out and quickly logged back in with another char i had parked at the same spot, well the bag was gone ! i was like wtf ?? walked around a tiny bit and saw a low level dwarf running off .

@pickard72 I used to do that... Sneak off to some random remote area and put your coin on the ground and then quick as hell relog and pick the cash up with the other toon.

Yes. Unless SOE was to, theoretically, make a server like this which they would not. You can tell it is emu because he summoned the two swords in the beginning. GM powers + classic 1999 interface = EMU
