  • Linked here by rational wiki and I've never heard of Tim Minchin. I must know more.

  • I like how there's a ton of arguments here on the page, yet ALMOST EVERYONE thumbed the video up.

  • y ese es el tipo de música que le gusta cabron, ESO SI DA ASCO! como tu ppinche cara que has de tener

  • Shit niggahz, I made that comment 7 months ago. I don't even really care about the issue anymore and have since developed an amount of respect for certain religious endeavours. Furthermore I'm not even atheist anymore.

  • @hedonism13 What changed your mind?

  • @ShadowBB

I dunno... I've just vastly immersed myself in the issue, and it's a bit more complex an issue than it appears on the surface. Religion is bullshit, and I don't believe in an afterlife, but... well, to say whether or not there's a god, you need to tell me what you mean by god. I suppose that thought changed my mind.

  • @hedonism13 "Any" god would suit the definition of atheist. An atheist simply doesn't believe in "any" god. So if you state that you are "not even atheist anymore" you actually state that you now believe in a god. If you do not believe in a god (and many people who are simply not sure; don't believe) than you are an atheist. Sounds like you, right? You say the thought of an unclear definition of the concept "god" changed your mind. But that doesn't change the fact that you are an atheist.

  • @ShadowBB

Strictly speaking, I'm a Igtheistic Theological Noncognotivist. But I don't lke saying that, because it's such a pretentious sounding position. I basically don't see arguing about god as important until somebody can put forward a non-fallacious definition of god that still makes god distinct from some naturally occurring catalyst (for instance, defining god as the creator of the universe).

Then, I guess, I believe in a catalyst, sort of as a scientific placeholder.

  • @hedonism13 Definitions are important! You sound like somebody who knows his philosophy of language. More power to you. Still, doesn't the position of a Theological Noncognotivist (TN) exclude being a theist somewhat? How can you believe in a concept that you find linguistically nonsensical? Ofcourse, "believe" is mostly an emotional cognition, so it could still be possible. But I don't think you would be that stupid. So you are probably still atheistic, parallel to being a Igtheistic TN.

  • @MeandmagiC re: your request "Give me one example of something religious people close their mind to" - That there most likely is no 'God'

  • 66 people's brains fell out.

  • people believe in god(gods) have that right but i believe the scientists and if there was a god(gods) then who made them. im just being realistic.

besides if adam and eive had kids and there kids had kids then we would all be inbread

  • perfect ending.

  • Yes, let us talk about religion seriously on youtube comments. What fruitful and clever lives we have, ah.

  • It's a deal, Mr Minchin. It's a deal. ;)

  • @@hedonism13 many religious people are open minded. You just need to stop wasting time on the ones who aren't and spend more time with the ones who are. You sound quite biased..

  • @rajaz001

You're confusing people who believe in God with religious people. Religious people are people who practice religion. People who believe in God are just plain old theists that usually don't take part in the rituals required of their religion or make any note of their God(s) other than for the concept of an afterlife or to explain things science cannot presently. I have no problem with the latter, and they are usually open minded. The former however... have closed their minds down.

  • @hedonism13 I see what you're trying to say, but it's not always like that... yes there can be religious people who just practice the religion and people who believe in God are just plain theists. It's just the media and rumors that brainwash people into thinking that religious people are the typical kind of people you find that are close minded, etc

  • @rajaz001

Hmm. I don't think the media makes a habit out of negatively portraying religion. A handful of shows with a liberal bias, perhaps, but regular, popular news broadcasr uses words like Christianity positively. Not that I'm in opposition to that, there's a lot of good in Christianity. But the philosophy of it predominately acts as an impediment to progress, scientifically and socially.

  • @hedonism13 Problem with some people who are strongly against religion is that they try to ruin that religion. But others who see past that, and research what they want to know about that religion, before they make a judgement. That's one of the ways to keep peace between theism and atheism. I can't talk about Christianity a lot, but from what i know about true Christianity, is that it's not meant to do what you say. Unfortunately people in power change religion for their own benefit.

  • I do the arm pump with him :P

  • First video I've seen which has been viewed moreso by 40-50 year old men than by any other demographic.

  • he probably has a great pirate voice...

  • 66 pplz daddiez never went 2 their ball games

  • "Religion isn't a leap of faith, it's high-functioning Autism." -- Eugene Mirman

  • love how he says 'myyyyy piano'

  • To be honest: I am Christian. And I am able to laugh at this as much as everyone else. It's important to do self-critisism ;)

  • @RaketenKuhGewehr

So...you're not christian anymore? Or was your self criticism useless?

  • @kyelj13 I still am Christian. Critisizing yourself or what you do or think doesn't mean stop doing it or thinking that way. I have no Idea why I should stop being Christian. I can laugh about this. I'm fine. I respect each opinion that is different than mine. I'm fine. Why should that change?

  • @RaketenKuhGewehr

Sceptics, at least those who identify themselves as such, have a tendency to lose sight of the priorities of critical thinking. It can be easy to go from "argument that proves me right and him wrong" to "if he doesn't admit he is wrong I must make him".

Sometimes we have to remind ourselves to be content with simply being right. When we cross the line into overstepping the bounds of basic human respect in order to force others to accept it too, we ourselves become zealots.

  • @TheFounderUtopia Excuse me, would you kindly explain the connection to my post? I'm not really able to find out wether this was pro or contra what I wrote. I don't think I'm forcing anyone to accept my point of view. I'm will always try to force the people to !respect! my point of view. Simply because I respect theirs. I simply asked why he thinks self cristicism is useless without a change of you PoV.

  • @RaketenKuhGewehr

I think you misunderstood me - I was apologizing on behalf of the skeptic, explaining that sometimes they/we get carried away and lose sight of the line between proving wrong someone who stands up and makes a flawed claim, and hunting down someone who just wants to quietly believe something that gives them comfort.

You should not have to defend your faith simply because some smartass decided to put you on the spot in response to you making a perfectly enlightened statement.

  • @TheFounderUtopia Ahhh, yes ;)

That's why I asked you to explain. I clearly missunderstood you.

    Thanks ;)

  • People need to realize:

Had Scientology been formed 2000 years ago, it'd be the biggest religion today, like Christianity is.

Had Christianity been formed 60 years ago, it'd be ridiculed and considered absurd, like Scientology is (and rightfully so,)

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow hey wanna hear something absurd? I wasnt part of the salem witch hunts and neither were any of my friends that are christian? Fucking imagine that! Imagine that maybe every christian isn't an asshole republican or an intolerant douchebag. All I was saying is that I don't give a rats nutsack what you believe in all I ask is you extend the same courtesy. Don't give a shit what I believe in. But if someone is shitting on what I believe I'm going to defend it just like you would.

  • @Machinehead645 Im not Christian by any means but I agree. You were not part of the Salem witch hunt.

  • @totallytrucks Idk if your being good spirited about this or you didnt catch my sarcasm. I know when the salem witch hunts took place lol. I hate it when people act like the christian ways havent evolved since then. That we still kill people if they dont agree with us. I hate ignorant people whether they are christian or not.

  • @Machinehead645 Im being good spirited though I had a hint of sarcasm in my comment as well. I agree. Im Wiccan so I would of been the one burned back in that situation lol. I hold no grudge so I dont see why your friend down there does. Organized religion can get scary..well because..its religious folk..organized.. and the extremist are what end up defining every religion. Some people are blinded by tht rather than looking at each person individually. It goes for every religion not only

  • @totallytrucks > Christianity. But when people have their minds set its hard to change it. This guy obviously has bitterness towards Christians. instead of blaming the Christians he knows and obviously despises and continues to blame for past tragedies placed centuries ago he goes to all christians with it. Its like some black people who still hate white people for slavery even though we were born decades up on decades after and they have never been slaves. Its ridiculous. Its just more

  • @totallytrucks >prejudices the world doesnt need. Theres just way too much hate. Im not all " Peace love and Understanding" not everyone can be as amazing as I am but I am up for tolerance. I have just sent 3 messages on the same paragraph. I think Ive gotten my point across lol. I kinda lost my way a few times so atleast I hope I did.

  • @totallytrucks I think its cuz he believes I'm one of the christians that are convinced they are right and everyone who disagrees with them is gay or possessed. I don't even call myself a christian I just firmly believe there is a god and an afterlife. I enjoy hearing other people's views in a civil manner. I think this video is hilarious in fact. I love Tim Minchin.

  • @2011alix That made no sense nor did it have any relation to the subject of the song.

  • @2011alix You seem distinctly idiotic. Perhaps it was all the words you used incorrectly, or maybe it was your numerous spelling errors that lead me to believe that. Either way, kindly refrain from trying to communicate with humans ever again.

  • @l1d57r03m ,may be lot of errors and no matter what, you are so right bcz you are not a human,I have nothing to comment any more . I would advise you to find some one who teach you morals . you might gonna B S again and I will not add anything again. whatever you BS is BACK ON YOU .

  • @2011alix Woah. Are you channelling the power of Gene Ray? ARE you Gene Ray?

  • wow, so cool !

  • 64 people's brains have fallen out....

  • In-fuckin-credible.

  • true love <3

  • this guy is annoying he just talks and plays piano

  • @DAvonzoAllDay Have you heard any of his other songs. . . ?

  • If we could reason with religious people, there would be no religious people-House.

  • i mean, i kinda like religion, its not evil, its just evil people who manipulate it too thier advantage, like all things really...Im agnostic by the way

  • Technically, secular people have open minds. The religious have closed minds - they close their minds to any explanation alternative to what they want to believe.

  • @hedonism13 First: This song is not all about religion (at least in it's traditional meaning). Thinks like homeopathy (sorry, german :P) are critised, too.

Second: I think in a modern world like our's, you cannot throw everyone at one point. Not all Religious People close their minds to explanations they do NOT (I think, that's what you wanted to say ;) )want to accept. If you say: "All black people are stupid", it's racism

But saying "All religious people are close-minded" is okay?

  • @hedonism13 Religous people aren't open minded, that's not what is meant, open minded people are people who are willing to question and debate the reality of any and all unproven beliefs without prejudice.

  • @hedonism13 stealing that thought !!

  • @hedonism13 Um...calling every religious person close minded is like calling a dingo an otter.

  • @DrakeVenix

    No it's not.

  • @hedonism13 bit of black and white thinking, don't you think?

I am pretty religious, and technically too...

how do you explain that? :)

Give me one example of something religious people close their mind to

  • @MeandmagiC

We clearly have conflicting opinions on the term religious. Do you frequently attend church? Have a crucifix around your neck? Do you pray before bed? If so, then yeah, you're religious. And close minded. Refer to my comment below. If not, you just believe in God, and it doesn't affect your life.

  • @hedonism13 I think you are close minded right here, seeing your strict definition of religion.

    Do I attend church? yes.

Do I have a crucifix around my neck? no

Do you pray before bed? well, sometimes, its very relaxing to do...

But you decide that I'm close minded while I am very open to other beliefs, unlike you, as I can see.

There is more in life than praying and attending church when being religious.

do you believe you are open minded then?

  • @hedonism13

Some secular people are closed minded. Some religious people are open minded.

  • well be prepared to give me your piano tim mahahaha........wait my bad apparently your not god

  • oh, will all of you just shut up, stop arguing and just admit that Tim Minchen is SOOOO funny and he is an inspiring guy and we all love him just the way he his. He has an amazing voice and plays the piano beautifully, plus did anyone else notice that his eyes are the most amazing, peircing green?

    I did!

  • This should be the anthem of skepticism.

  • @Bionic3333 not this should be an anthem to those who do not believe in blind unyielding illogical faith to that which cannot be proven. people believe that since you cannot prove there is not a god that he must exist and that it lends strength to t heir argument. well prove to me that there isnt a giant flying invisible spaghetti monster in outerspace that controls all of our actions thru his invisible ethreal pasta arms making us each and and perform and think the way he wants. disprove that?

  • @screamofabutterfly3 Exactly. ...giant spaghetti :D

  • See, being agnostic, i find his humor just simply hilarious! lol and guys, all people are entitled to their own opinions and their own beliefs, but can we stop bashing everybody for what they believe already? I mean seriously, what are we, 2?? So he believes in Budah, and him in Allah, and that guy over there believes in Evolution, and this dude here believes in YHWH both jewish and christian, so what?! Live your lives, and when you die, we'll find out who is wrong, and who was right.

  • @dogonname dude, but then youll never get to laugh at the other guy for being wrong.

  • @JFK6699 the main point i was getting at, was why do we fight about crazy shit like that? lol i don't care who's right or wrong, i just hate the fact that ppl get so defensive and literally are willing to fight over stupid beliefs like this. *shrug* i find the differences funny, and the ppl even funnier of most beliefs.

  • @dogonname yeah me too man. I was just teasing.

  • @dogonname because Alan Turing

  • @dogonname

Evolution isn't remotely a belief system, mate. I get what you mean, but it just sticks out like a sore thumb.

  • EPIC! many people have this thoughts but few have the talent to display them in such a manner. beautiful done.

  • It is so bullshit that this guy read that in a book...

  • @kangaimRoo he said he got the title "If You Open Your Mind Too Much, Your Brain Will Fall Out" from seeing it in a book.... he didnt read the entire song and just use it as his own lol

  • @GnarkillFTW Hey, dipp shit. I'm trying to be funny here, fuck off!

  • @kangaimRoo calm the hell down mate, your joke kinda failed if you have to explain you were tryin to be funny

  • @GnarkillFTW I sorta have to when you don't get it, don't I?

  • @kangaimRoo you don't believe him?

  • @RabSimpsonDotCom I don't belive YOU! Who are you? What do you whant from me? Why do i haz brain hurtze frezy?! o.O

  • @realskpetic sorry bro was kinda fucked up when I replied haha

  • @realskpetic True man. Honestly though I like hearing other peoples beliefs, I know theres a good chance I am wrong. Thats why I love this video. I didnt look it up to sit and cuss people out

  • @realskpetic I meant christian god, the one I believe in. Im tired of people commenting on this so from now on Im just not gonna answer. Your name makes you sound like a prick btw. And Im not responsible for shit. Believe what you what I honestly couldnt give a fuck.

  • Simply brilliant!

  • And if anyone can show me one example in the history of the world of a single [insert your con man of choice] who's been able to [logically suited method] that [insert your delusion of choice].

  • Comment removed

  • very funny but he who knows everything knows fuck al

  • @Rogerlowrey2222 Tim never claimed to know everything, he just claimed that the OTHER claims, made by people who also didn't know everything, are untrue, or at least unsupportable. Who is this Fuck Al guy that people who know him know everthing? He sounds like a good guy to know, even if he does have a weird name.

  • This is easily the best song ever.

  • "When one person suffers from a delusion it is called insanity; when many people suffer from a delusion it is called religion."

  • @kaeneros

u must be a big fan of Prof. Robert salposky from Stanford!

    "religion is a organized schizophrenia.."

  • @kaeneros nice one.

"religion is a organized schizophrenia.." Robert Salposky. yeaaaah,

"You're basically killing each other to see who's got the better imaginary friend"

    - Richard Jeni

  • @infamousDreamer

not a bad thing to die my friend, hv a good day.

  • @kaeneros never heard that before, great quote and so very true.

  • The name if this song makes me laugh until my face hurts.

  • im a proud christian and i think this is funny

  • @rabbi8488 lol a proud christian called rabbi *cough* jew in denial *cough*

  • @crispo3000 HAHAHAHA, laughed my arse off when i saw that. Im always *cough* ..... *cough*'ing shit. Nearly as good as Minchin

  • @jame55millie thanks dude :)

  • @rabbi8488 why are you a proud christian? because you believe in something of which there is zero evidence? or because you believe the propaganda that christians are "good" people and not the kind of people who would slaughter the populations of places they want for themselves? if it's the latter i suggest you look into something called "history" and learn all about the disgusting things "good" christians have done to "non-believers" over the millenia.

  • "even those that are blind can see clearer than those of faith." -Liam Willard

  • And if anyone can show me just one example in the history of the world of a single

Spiritual or religious person who has been able to prove either logically or empirically the existence of a higher power that has any consciousness or interest in the human race or ability to punish or reward humans for there moral choices or that there is any reason - other than fear - to believe in any version of an afterlife.

    ~ words of wisdom.

  • @machinehead645

I'd also like to add that an eternal omniscient being that could interact omnipotently with our universe is impossible due to obvious problems of vanishingly small time-frames and other little things like the laws of physics. To claim that anything around us was 'created' is a self-defeating paradox of capability and intent of such a being.

  • @Baryon321 And that is perfectly logical thinking, if when I die I discover that thats all that happens I will be completely fine with that. Until then I just believe different.

  • @machinehead645

If you understood evolution, cosmology and fundamental physics such as string theory, you would not be telling us atheists that we don't know what we're talking about. I'm 17 and I already understand enough of this to explain life as we know it. Science can completely remove the need for a creator that is such a basis for supernatural beliefs and religions.

  • @Baryon321 I know what string theory is, and I understand evolution. I actually believe in both of those with god. I just hate it when people act like theyve proven god doesn't exist. We may not have proven him real but you haven't proven the opposite. I actually enjoy hearing what people believe, Id never criticize it unless they criticized me. I just hate it when people just go "god isnt real youre a faggot" I wouldnt find this video funny if I hadnt accepted the chance that Im wrong.

  • @Machinehead645

"We may not have proven him real but you haven't proven the opposite."

This, my friend, is entirely wrong. There is what is called "the burden of proof", which states who of the two arguing parties needs to bring the evidence.

  • @Machinehead645

    (continued)

Let me clarify this: Non-existence cannot be proven. Only existence. You cannot prove that a purple horse with 8 legs DOES NOT exist, can you? Only that it DOES exist (well, if you show it to me, or something). So, in this debate, those who believe in God actually bear the burden of proof, get it?

And this proof, you have to admit, has been delayed for several millenia.

  • @momtso Let me clear somethin up for you. I dont give a fuck what you believe. It means so so little to me. I accept other views I just want other people to accept mine. You dont have to believe it and I could care less if you did. But until it is proven that the christian God does not exist Im going to keep believing. All of you need to fuck off Im sick of this shit filling up my inbox

  • @Machinehead645 First of all, it's on the burden of someone making an incredible assertion to prove that it's true. Second, it's been proven that the Christian god does not exist. Given what we now know as scientific fact, almost nothing in the Bible can possibly be true (not to mention its internal inconsistencies). If you want to believe against the evidence, I accept that. But I think it's more intellectually honest to admit that your faith is blind and the god you believe in is unjust.

  • @bluharmoni It has never been completely proven that god does not exist and if I didnt make this clear Ill say it again: I DONT GIVE A FUCK WHAT YOU BELIEVE ONLY REASON I RESPONDED ON THIS PAGE IS BECAUSE I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE BLAST WHAT I BELIEVE IN WHEN I ACCEPT WHAT THEY BELIEVE IN. For fuck sakes... Im not anti-atheist or anything, my best friend is an atheist and I find this video hilarious. All of you fuck off. Stop filling up my fucking inbox.

  • @Machinehead645 Unless I know exactly what you believe in, I can't tell you how or if it's been disproved. This is comedy for atheists & skeptics. You have the right to believe whatever you want as long as it doesn't harm others, and I have plenty of religious friends. We just don't discuss religion much. But you put your views out there, so they're subject to scrutiny. Certainly you don't believe things *just* because they haven't been disproved (like purple unicorns)?

  • @bluharmoni bro the only reason I said anything is cuz there was one douche on here being a complete asshole i dont remember his name

  • @Machinehead645

    momtso

  • @Machinehead645

"my best friend is an atheist" reminds me of a joke by a comedian, he said that you could say the same sort of thing about being a racist-" some of my friends are black"... or "I'm not a murderer, some of my friends are alive". Point being, that you can't be all that religious before you feel the need to swear so fluently, and in any case, could you not be the bigger person and ignore the comments? Or just give back a reasonable arguement? or not watch Tim Minchin?

  • @liamcee2k9 Seems that yet again I need to clarify some things. First Im not "religious" I can swear all the fuck I want. Second I love Tim Minchin. He's fucking hilarious. I believe in a higher power that happens to be God of the Christian faith, I also like hearing other peoples views on things like belief in a higher power. I just fucking hate it when people senselessly blast my belief. And the shit with my best friend being an atheist is just to prove that I'm not an intolerant dick.

  • what am i doing !!!!

am i actually embarking on a serious discussion concerning science Vs religeon ?

i may as well attempt to talk to a cat about about how comfy my shoes are.

hey !!!! everyone !!!! lets go murder people in theyre thousands because they dont talk and look like us.

  • "Shut the fuck up till you know what you're talking about. "

because , of course , you know excactly what you are talking about. quoting from a book , wich was written , in a time when people beleived the earth was flat.

  • @johnqdarwin

The Republic was written in a time when the earth was flat and it's still studied and quoted by very prestigious modern philosophers.

  • Religion is an explanation of things people used to not be able to explain, such as . A cop-out if you like. As science progresses, religion shrinks. Eg.

"God makes heaven and a formless earth, and light and dark."

Evidence from radioactive decay shows the earth was formed 9.2 billions years after the big bang, not even remotely close to each other in time periods...

  • @lethimlive The earth is 'apparently' 9.2 billion years old. Imagine a 40 year old man appears out of thin air. He is only a few seconds old, but science would show him to be 40. Our knowledge is limited by thinking that only what we have studied and observed over the past few hundred years can be true and nothing else.

  • @jazzfusionforall 4.5B, not 9.2

  • @lethimlive apparently god fills the gaps in science, but those gaps have a habit of shrinking as we learn ;)

  • @lethimlive What is a day to an eternal being? Its less than a second. All science proves is that we don't know much about the huge universe we live in. Shut the fuck up till you know what you're talking about.

  • @Machinehead645 All religion proves is that we don't know anything about the huge universe (universes) we live in, and we don't have the fucking ability to move on from what people said 2000 years ago - "We don't know how it works, so we'll say 'God' made it. That was easy."

    Idiot.

  • @lethimlive For some reason you cant move on from what happened 6 fucking months ago. Dude I dont give a fuck about what you believe. Seriously. Believe whatever the fuck you want I dont give half a rats fucking nutsack. Science doesnt explain much neither does religion. I honestly dont think well ever find out how the fuck we got here or why the fuck were here till we die. If when I die theres nothing else, more fuckin power to yeh just fucking piss off. I dont fucking care!

  • @Machinehead645 6 months ago? Where does that come from?

And why should you care what I believe... I just hate it when people turn to religion when science fails. However, those who didn't resort to the easy option have accomplished great things, eg Dawin, Newton... If we all adopted your typical ignorant mindset, where the (using your language) fuck would we be? I'll tell you, NOT in America cause we'd be scared of falling of the edge of the world. Dipshit.

  • @lethimlive

I responded to this video 6 months ago, might not be the comment you responded to but the only reason I responded is because someone was being a complete asshole. I love tim minchin, I love this video, I think its funny as hell because people who complete ignore all possibilities except one they believe piss me off. Ive accepted theres a chance Im wrong and if I find out for myself that I am then I will willingly admit that I believed in something false.

  • @lethimlive Btw people came to America after it was discovered for religious tolerance.

  • @Machinehead645 "Religious tolerance" ha. The Salem witch hunts were a great show of "religious tolerance"

  • @lethimlive oh and Columbus discovered America because he believed God wanted him to sail across the ocean to asia, but instead he found america and called it asia. So you can actually say we wouldnt be anywhere without religion

  • @Machinehead645

Well we wouldn't have had the dark ages of Christianity... Our technology would probably be about 1000 years ahead...

  • @0xPUNKROCKx0 If we didn't have the Romans we would be 2 or 3 thousand years ahead.

  • @subgay No, we'd still be in 2011. Unless we'd used a different calendar, but equally many years would still have passed.

  • @hermanessences When talking about technological advancement the "year or years" do not refer to time relative to the earths progression around the sun, it refers to time relative to technological progression (e.g {note this is just an example} 1 "year" would be 1 technological advancement so if we were to have 10 technological advancements in one Julian year then we would be 9 "years" ahead technologically speaking)

  • @subgay I've never heard anyone talk about years after how many inventions are made, but maybe some do, I doubt this user was though. And where do they cross the line for which inventions or advancements are major enough to consider it a new technological year?

  • @hermanessences If you consider the advancement of technology before, during and after the Roman empire there is no way to say that we would still be in 2011. Time is relative, let us assume that we never lost thousands of years of technological advancement due to the Romans, its possible that we could have been into space long before we were, should a colony be made in space then the Julian year which we use now may no longer be the year of choice thus it may not be 2011.

  • @subgay "All I was saying is that I don't give a rats nutsack what you believe in all I ask is you extend the same courtesy."

the problem isn't WHAT you believe in, it's the number of people who believe it and the politicians using it as an excuse to push through legislation that takes away personal freedoms.

religious authority is by its very definition totalitarian. believe what you like, but don't give cunts an excuse to abuse EVERYONE because of it.

  • @Machinehead645 no, because he wasn't the first person to discover it.

  • thinking and religeon dont work well together mate.

  • @johnqdarwin thinking and religion may not, but thinking and GOD do.

  • @jazzfusionforall if there is such a being it's not yaweh, it's not allah, it's not christ, it's not brahma or any of the other names that men have given it, simply because men cannot know what created the universe, and anybody dumb enough to think that "god" speaks to them is having some serious mental issues.

just because you believe it doesn't make it the truth, and just because you want something to be true because you want it to be doesn't make it so.

go get a hobby and enjoy life.

  • @RabSimpsonDotCom Its people like you that piss me off. Science doesn't prove god doesn't exist, all it proves is that we honestly don't know what created life. It could be something entirely different from anything we've ever known. So don't fucking sit there and pretend that you do. That's called ignorance. Something you seem to have an abundance of.

  • @Machinehead645 blah blah blah blah...

it's up to those who claim the sky fairy's existence to prove it, after all it's their claim! there's a china teapot up there for you too.

the irony here is that you're completely ignorant to the things i've learned, when i've studied various religions and i've found that they all have a common trait, they're all a pile of bullshit written by men looking to control people with the fear of death.

fuck your beliefs. do the experiments and learn something.

  • @RabSimpsonDotCom Prove god isn't real "under reasonable experimental conditions" and I'll admit Im wrong. Until then don't sit there and pretend you know what going on in this universe of ours.

  • @Machinehead645 prove to me that your sky fairy is real under reasonable experimental conditions and i might give your bullshit fairytales some credit, until then you'll be viewed as just another nutjob along with all the other grown adults who still believe in santa claus and the tooth fairy.

  • @RabSimpsonDotCom whatever man, youre just another idiot who doesnt know what hes talking about who cant accept that theres a chance youre wrong. Sit and be ignorant I couldn't give a fuck

  • @Machinehead645 define irony ;)

  • @RabSimpsonDotCom "the use of words expressing something other than thier literal intention, now that IS irony" bender bending rodriguez

  • @AnEcumenicalMatter i did hope someone would spot that :P

  • @Machinehead645

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then He is not omnipotent. Is He able, but not willing? Then He is malevolent. Is He both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is He neither able nor willing? Then why call Him God?

  • @bowenjuice Dat sum Epicurus?

  • Just out of curiosity, are there any other christians here who have the guts to post their thoughts on this song?

  • i had a nasty chesty cough once. so i had some nettle tea. wich i brewed myself , and it did cure my chesty cough. however , it stung my tongue like a b@st@rd .
