L'excellent Louis Bory, mort si jeune, lui au phrasé si précis, aux variations mélodiques exemplaires. Oui, un grand chanteur dont le timbre de voix et la technique irréprochable nous emportent encore, longtemps plus tard, en un charme suranné mais si troublant...

Qu'on le redécouvre! Que les jeunes écoutent au moins une fois ce qu'est bien chanter...

Louis Bory died during a mission for the French army in May 1940. He only recorded for two years, 1938-1939. He had a fine mellow voice and a promising career ahead of him, but the war ended that. His most famous recording is "Donkey Serenade" in French.
