As a bass player myself, I don't know how Verdine moves like he does and still be so dynamic and solid with his playing. It's as if he uses his whole body for rhythm! Funny thing is, after watching him play, he doesn't move to what he's playing but rather to the percussion...it's weird but I love the guy! Great band.
The problem is that TODAYS BROTHERS have to look tough and be tough....It makes no sense because it should of been the COMPLETE OPPOSITE.....All the senseless racism was in the 50's 60's and 70's...They would have a reason to look tough, mean and MAD....Today EVERYBODY LOVES Everybody...All you got to do is pull your paints down and puts some gold teeth in and come out with a song about THE GANGSTA life and your rich...Its a BUNCH OF BULLSHIT...Grow up BROTHERS....LOSERS

Maurice White has one of the best voice I've ever heard. I saw these guys in concert two years ago and Verdine still brings it hard on the stage. Great to see him still enjoy himself!
Takes me back to the time when music was a word that everyone liked and understood. Nowadays ''music'' is known as saying words to a few notes. Though I'm only 13, I know it: I wish I had lived in the good times. I mean: look at these guys! They just love to sing and dance! Their moves are good and they sing like angels. I just love it. Totally awesome!
The 60's and 70's were a very exciting time in music. Keep listening and you will discover and incredible universe of joy peace and love, not vulgar ideas.
