  • Toco guitarra y no muy mal, pero esto es fuera de serie. que daria por tener ese talento tan maravilloso, Dios cuide de sus dedos y su mente...Son muy valiosos....

  • @ricardotrivers Muchas gracias :))

  • muito bom! bela execução!

  • @deborarodrigue Thanks!

  • Excellent! How is this music called generally (obviously being different than flamenco)? And one more thing. Do you know what music was played in the spanish colonies during the late 17th, early 18th century? You know, the golden age of piracy and stuff.

  • @CubeableGame Thanks! It's classical guitar music. I'm not sure about it being played in the colonies. The classical guitar had its peak a little later. Many of the great classical guitar players were around the Mozart/Beethoven era whereas the period you've named as the "Golden Age of Piracy"was around the time of Bach. In this era the lute was all the rage, rather than the classical guitar which was still being developed.

  • @LearnClassicalGuitar Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions:) I was always aware about the lute in that period, but I was asking about the guitar (at least, the baroque guitar if we want to get specific). I always had the thought of pirates with big feather hats playing the guitar or something similar.

  • Bravo!

  • @ShredderGuitar2 Thanks :))

  • @LearnClassicalGuitar I going to cry because I want classical guitar lessons sooooo badly, but no one teaches it in my area. I already take lessons for piano, and I did take lessons for violin. I love classical music and guitar, but i can't find lessons :(

  • @ShredderGuitar2 you could try the Classical Guitar study course. there's information on it inside the Beginner's Program. Just click through to my website and you'll see how to register.

    Kind regards,

    Trevor M.

  • @LearnClassicalGuitar Thank You! Its a good start, do I have to pay to register?

  • @ShredderGuitar2 Not for the free beginner's course. There's a fee for the Classical Guitar Study course but it's purely optional whether you join that or not:))

  • @LearnClassicalGuitar Cool, Im going to try the beginner's course :)

  • Absolutely loved it

  • @1ronshy Cool!

  • Great job! Love Malaguena! Wish I could play it!

  • un grand classique de la guitarra flamenca ... bravo

  • Having been working on the exercises in Pumping Nylon, I've been looking for a good first tremolo piece. Mr. Maurice -- wily guitar instructor that he is -- has provided a great one. One that progresses from p-m, to p-m-i -- and after a well-placed pizzicato section -- to a full-fledged p-a-m-i tremolo. Booya! Thank you for this.

  • @jstanley011 I've actually arranged it so it's manageable but still sounds quite impressive. I hope you enjoy it!! :))

  • Very nice picking and strumming.

  • @Bandapr1 Thanks! :))

  • I like to see how things are done on a slower pace and thank you for playing and showing us how to use the right hand for the picking.

  • I love this

  • Excellent performance. The muting adds variety and interest to an already stirring

Spanish standard. Congrats on making it sound new! Jud

  • @TheJudplay Thanks for the positive comments! :))

  • Wish I could make my fingers do that... Best stick to repairing aircraft. :-) Great stuff!!!

  • NICE single finger picking! Coordinated with those chords! GREAT instructional vid!

  • @bugre19 Thank you very much!

  • It's very nice, congratulation.

    Jo

  • thanks too you niceeee

  • bravo, that's absolutely beautiful. i enjoy listening and watching you play. god bless, margie

  • @puckett456 Thank you Margie, it's really appreciated!

  • hey man i love your site and this song, great that this all is free on your site unlike the other sites.

can i donate you bye paypal?

  • Part of the fun of this piece is that there's a different arrangement for every guitarist who plays it. Flamenco was _made_ for improvisation, and Malague~a is the perfect vehicle for it.

  • Wonderful! Happy New Year!
