that is why i love this videogame series, because it has the most epic storyline in a videogame series that i have ever seen within one, and the gaps, that were missed, actualy were going to be put into the 6th and final game, which would have come after defiance (cannot remember its name...) which would have had the reaver being placed,and vorodors resarection... also anyone notice janos disappears then returns... maybe he reserected vorodor (just a small surgestion...)

@KingTeDdY62 hows the story over? tell me plz . Neither are the hyldens defeated nor is the elder god. The only thing that happened in defiance is the fulfillment of the soul reaver with raziels soul but you actually dont know how kain will save nosgoth

@Rycoxis The elder god is trapped in his cave and he can't feed because of the vampires. The Hyldens are banished again and their lord is killed by Kain in Blood Omen 2. Don't tell me that game is not canon. The whole point of Defiance storyline is to make Blood Omen 2 events possible.

@KingTeDdY62 Blood Omen 2 is the regular timeline otherwise Kain would't not have the telekinesis abillity or his scar from the figth with lord sarafan. The Blood Bmen 2 timeline will actually never exist because Vorador is dead so the cabal will never exist and save the young Kain. And as we all know as long as the pillars are destroyed the Hylden are NOT banned. Just look at Soul Reaver 2 and 1. AND How can the elder god be trapped if he is like everywhere under the earth?

@Rycoxis Not really. All of BO2 is possible because Raziel has ressurected Janos Audron in Defiance. That's what Kain "saw" during SR2 ending when saved Raziel from the Reaver. He saw his new "memories" from BO2 where Janos was alive and the Hylden were back. The only one who could have resurected Janos was Raziel. That's why he said that Janos must remain dead why he chase Raziel in Defiance. BO2 is in some kind of alternate "time loop" created at that time.

@KingTeDdY62 Oh I almost forgot. There is a theory about that scar. One says that the scar is from Kain resurection in BO. After all we know that Mortanius put the Heart of Darkness in Kain. He was probably human during that operation since Mortanius repaired his body before he found him in the Underworld. That's how his impalment wound became a wide scar.

@Rycoxis About Vorador you should check the Legacy of Kain The Lost worlds website. It has lots of interesting informations like how Defiance was supposed to end before Crystal Dynamics ran out of budget and was forced to release it sooner than expected.

And I think Kain's scar was made when he died as a human in BO1.

Yeah Tony Jay (voice actor for the Elder God) pasted away a few times after Defiance's release. And anyway the story is over so there is no need to create a new LOK game.
