depending on how much actual interaction is there between the player and the girl, it just might overlap in the dating sim genre, well time will tell what that is all about

@biskmater1 Visual novel, maybe. Dating simulator, no. It's a first person dungeon crawler. The girl acts as your guide and you fight in a way that is similar to the earthbound series.

@jimmyelgringito again, thank you for stating the obvious, what i'm talking about is how important the relationship between the player and the girl is within the game itself and how much of an impact does it have on the games. As well as the kinds of interactions with her, I AM well aware that it is a first person dungeon crawler, what i would like to know is what ELSE is it.

@biskmater1 I doubt it's going to be a dating sim. From what i have seen it's like etrian odyssey (or so i think it's called). The girl is your guide and a huge focus of the game is her. She opens doors, lowers bridges, finds secrets etc. I don't think the main characters don't interact a lot with her. I haven't seen an instant of them talking.
