they have made minor adjustments to the ride since 2 yers ago like making it go faster and bigger drops i went here in May 2010 for a band school field trip to play a show there and we had 2 days of roaming around disneyland/california adventure for 12 hours both days i rid all the rides we went on the tube water ride like 20 times so much fun without the lines tower of terror and cali screamin were also supr fun

When I went on this ride in the fall of 2008 my chest harness popped forward about 4 or 5 inches on the first drop (which made me almost crap myself!) so I held it tight against me and prayed the rest of the ride! It was super scary!!! But I went on it again the next day! LOL

I was in Disneyland last week and took the ride. My 10-year old son pointed both his middle fingers up to the sky while the picture was being taken at the end of the ride. When we arrived at the booth after the ride, instead of our picture, the following message was displayed: "We are sorry your picture was lost in the loop." Has anyone experienced this Disney political correctness before? Can anyone try to confirm this is not a coincidence? Thanks.

Yes, I had this happen on Spash Mountain. I was sitting behind my wife and gave her a friendly grope as we passed the camera, the picture was not show it was "washed down stream". Disney has had a problem with people flashing the cameras, and now has people looking at the pictures before they are shown to the public. Makes you wonder who's collection they end up in ;-)

This is my second favorite ride. I love Big Thunder irst, then this, then Tower of Terror, then Space Mountain and Indiana Jones.

A tip: NEVER look up when you go upside down. It almost made me sick and I never get sick on rides.

Splash mountains drop is only about 50ft but California Screamins is about 110 feet. But to me splash mountains seems worse LOL. Anyway this coasters not scary but really fun.

The drop goes from slanted diangonally.. to.. a full DROP. It was a good 4 second drop. :)

Nice video! This was the first upside-down roller coaster I went on and I LOVED IT! It was a few years ago, and I was pretty young, but it definitely wasn't too scary. It was one of the best roller coasters I've ever been on!
