I heard from a mate in Oz that Newton only got the lyrics about 20 minutes before performing it live on radio. If you listen to the words, it's no easy matter putting them to music and IMHO I think Newton did a fantastic job. My only criticism is that they edited out the comments, laughter and Hamish & Andy joining in on the last verse from the iTunes version.

You guys that are saying "balls" quite clearly don't appreciate musical genius. Listen to the guitar part. That includes the percussive part by the way. Newton Faulkner is a genius, fair enough the lyrics are a bit stupid but the idea is to enjoy writing and singing a song - these guys aren't taking themselves seriously.
