No,The Texas Tornados, have not disbanded... Freddy and Doug passed a way RIP, but the band is now headed by Doug's son, Shawn Sahm, they are still performing together, I saw them perform live at Rt. 66 Casino in New Mexico on Oct. 16th ,2009. Then in SAn Antonio last month. Sometimes Both Flaco and Augie sit in with other bands as well.

Have they actually disbanded? Have not heard of them for quite awhile..Last time I saw Augie live he was with a different band, the Texmaniacs.

well the truth is that this wasn't exactly the best performance of those songs that they'v ever done. and I say that as a tornado fan.

This was the top Tex-Mex- Country -rock Super Group The song "Soy de San luis" which San Luis is in Mexico.Written by Flaco's Father. Won them a Grammy. Rip Doug and Freddy. Miss you tremendously. "Hey Baby que Paso" was written by Augie Meyers. Great performance.

It's called 'Soy de San Luis' - I'm from Saint Louis, en Ingles. The Spanish lyrics follow the english ones pretty closely, although anyone with more than Spanish 1 & 2 can correct me. Fun song, great perfomance. Notice Flaco hitting those dissonant chords on accordion - tasty!

man this band brings back memories when i was a teenager..i remember seeing them in laughling nevada outside the flamingo hotel..first time i drank a beer at a concert man i was buzzed and jammin to the TT's..thanks for all your muusc guys..RIP Freddy RIP Doug
