  • @MissMoxie78

You forgot to mention that Hartman is a patronizing asshole

  • Considering that the Jewish star idea was Muslim, I think you are looking in the wrong direction for bigotry. Thom, you are being shallow and childish. People have shown a huge amount of tolerance for Islam. Will YOU have the nads to look at the tolerance that Islam has shown? WHY is the left so fast to apologize for an ideology that makes the Nazis seem benign?

Muslims suffer the least of any group for hate crimes. Jews the most. Guess who's going after the Jews.

    Wheeler just pwned you!

  • A Republican peddling divisiveness? I'm in shock!

  • @jimlaregina Democrats running for re election are against the Mosque too.

  • heres my view on the mosque, they have a right to put it where they choose, including ground zero which it isnt really located AT ground zero. ALSO nobody seems to realize MUSLIMS died that day too, not just white christians. BUT i hope that they dont build it because anyone with a brain can see that itll be a #1 bomb target for right-wing nuts.

  • @turkishxboi Yea, I heard the guys who hijacked the plane got killed too.

  • @luvcheney1 ~believe it or not there are muslims who arent al qaeda who were minding their own business going to work and were KILLED same as other AMERICANS because thats what they are

  • @turkishxboi Of course you are right. Too bad, I am right also. And THAT is the point.

  • @luvcheney1 ~whats the point? ok ur right, are u trying to say muslims shouldnt hav constitutional rights because some insane terrorists that happen to be linked to the same religion caused this tragedy?

  • @turkishxboi I agree, they do have a Constitutional right to put it there. I have a right to gather my friends, carry signs against the Wars at funerals of dead soldiers. I have the right to express my feeling and cause pain to the parents of kids who died in war. I`ll have signs saying they died for nothing. But, shouldnt I be human enough to have compassion for someone`s grief? In NY there is pain over this. Rather than being human, these Muslim pieces of shit just dont care. Garbage.

  • @luvcheney1

I concur with turkishxboi :) when a religion gets to be 1,680 billion strong, you will get to see it's places of worship. God willing, in OUR lifetimes we will get to see the number of muslims rise to 25% of the world! See it's only 22% now...

  • this is what existentialism means by saying that facts are meaningless. It is how you interpret those facts that matters.

  • the pathetic thing is that many modern conservatives are as ignorant as Scott Wheeler

  • @lisabob22 Harry Reid isnt a modern conservative. Obama backpeddaled on the issue too. Now he wants to be sure they know he is Christian.

  • Hey Scott if you don't like wearing the white hood than stop putting it on.

  • @MissMoxie78 sounds like this Mosque is being made to purposely create the hysteria we are seeing now.

  • We shouldn't make Muslims wear gold stars but we should make people like Mr. Wheeler wear a dunce cap or maybe a straight jacket.

  • "We know nothing about him personally"??? It's time for Scott Wheeler to get aquainted with the google.

  • scott wheeler. the face of stupidity

  • "If the truth and the facts make liberals uncomfortable..." That's rich! Death Panels, Birthers, Muslims are trying to wedge Sharia Law into our existing laws- and Obama is a Muslim, Global Warming science is a hoax, ad infinatum.

We as a country no longer have the civility to hold a discourse about real issues- the whole country has gone 'You Tube'- home of the incendiary rhetoric and conspiracy theory. Insane.

  • @julsHz Insane? yes, I believe you are. Obama is a Christian, not a muslim. If you could be born into religions with no escape, I would be Mormon, my family was for many generations, I am not. I think Mormons are bullshit. Sorry to the mormons, but that's my opinion. We have Palin trying to lead America from the bible, that scares me as much as sharia law, religion has no business in government or laws. Laws should be based on sense.

  • @Calimantalkin Geez, you should read my post more carefully. I'm presenting issues that are promoted by wingnuts, but have no basis in reality- examples of insanity. I think I agree with you, but it's hard to actually say so when you call me insane! That kinda goes with my comment about civility being lost- no dialog can happen when you start the conversation with name calling.

  • @Calimantalkin ok, I kinda see what you meant, but it is not really plain.

  • The total bankruptcy of the right is going to lead to mayhem. All they have left to offer the middle and bottom is bigotry. They cant say vote for us an well make you poorer - no, appeal to the masses worst most bigoted sentiments - this is going to a place no decent person wants. I hat conspiracy theories but I have one. We are heading towards unavoidable economic disaster (ruined financial system, peak oil, climate change, mass extinction, population explosion) dictatorship is their solution!

  • Omg beautiful...beautiful ownage. Love Thom Hartman!

  • What a disgusting, dishonest spin doctor this "guest" is. He lies are so utterly transparent, but the danger is that this kind of rhetoric can take hold, as it did in Germany before the war. Remember Hitler constantly asserted that he was a great peace maker and man of the people... There are limits to tolerance...

  • The words 'Republican' and 'Trust' do not belong next to each other...

  • Number 1 they are not building a Mosque it is a recreation center. Number 2 it is not going to be built at ground zero.

  • @3chisox 1. It is a mosque and the building was part of the 9/11 attacks. So its the 9/11 mosque and every attempt to say different is a lie.

  • @robertmike57 so do we stop building Catholic churchs next to schools because of sex abuse cases?

do we stop building protastant churchs by any place where Native Americans were killed? freedom of religion pal

  • @robertmike57 they have every right to build a community center WHERE EVER they want free market capitalism baby

  • @robertmike57 so what? they can build where ever they want they have that right

  • @nfwvideo no one claims the stinking Saudi ragheads financing this victory mosque don't have a consitutional right to do so.

And people protesting Imam shithead also have the constitutional right to do so. Your problem is that you are clueless as to Islam being a barbaric pedophile prophet cult with bullshit comparisons of what was done hundreds of years ago

  • Comment removed

  • @robertmike57 the "raghead" u speak of is the number 2 share holder in FOX NEWS that is putting up the cash for the community center also the imam that wants to build this center Bush had him as the ambassador to muslim countries after 9-11

besides 9-11 was nothing compared to the crusades by "Christians"

  • @nfwvideo It's part of Islam doctrine to be a lying piece of shit for Islam, which explains Imam Rauf victory mosque. And no one knows who, if anyone, is pledging money for the mosque, I presume it will be some raghead in a country where Christian churches aren't allowed.

  • @robertmike57 america has freedom of religion did u know that? we can build places of worship whereever we see fit

  • @3chisox Number one the webster definition of mosque - a building used for public worship by muslims. 12th and 13th floor are prayer rooms. So you can say it's a recreational center with a mosque, but you can't say it's not a mosque. Number 2 Imam Rauf initially wanted to call it the Ground Zero mosque. I guess he was confused about what a mosque is too. Building the tallest mosque in N America 2 blocks from ground zero is practically the same as building it at ground zero.

  • @megagagnon1 I would be supporting the Muslims right to build a mosque at that location if it hadn't been functionally destroyed as a business by 9/11. I have a big problem with someone like Hartmann trying to invoke a Nazi analogy to all those with are disgusted by the location of the mosque. Conservatives are usually wrong , not always.

  • @robertmike57 Not only is the proposed mosque building a place where a landing gear fell on 9/11, but it is only 50 yards from the destroyed 7 World Trade Center building.

  • 6:22 = PWNGE ensues for the next 30 seconds.... Take a look at the callers face, sheer and utter pwnge!

  • The Republican Party… Helping the Muslim extremist recruiting drive like no one else can!

  • I love how he says "I saw no such video" and so Thom plays the video.

  • @17R3W I watched the youtube video in question. The black man was the provocateur who used the word MF 2 or 3 times, and the crowd was against him, screaming "no mosque here" over and over again, but it takes quite an imagination to say he was almost assaulted. That's a lie, and Thom should apologize for his gross mischaracterization.

  • Just call a bigot a bigot.

    and he is.

  • The ironic thing is that Hartmann all of a sudden wants to protect an individuals private property rights. Wow a leftist protecting property rights, that is rich. So should that not logically extend to Rand Paul's point about a seller being able to choose who to sell his bread to or deciding who can step foot on his property even if that choice is based on racism? If Hartmann wants to bring up the constitution and private property then he needs to be consistent.

  • Islam is not an awful religion-at least no worse than any other. It is just the extremists that are tainting the entire population of Muslims. I myself am not a Muslim, but know many and they are just normal peace loving every day ppl like anyone else. We need to not feed into all the divisive crap that the extremists want us to-or else they will have won. This is what they want-for us to abandon our core values and beliefs. That way, they can justify hating America and the west in general.

  • @africanjax Life under Muslim rule - The restrictions on dhimmis included: payment of higher taxes; at some locations, being forced to wear clothing or some othe insignia distinguishing them from Muslims; sometimes barred from holding public office, bearing arms or riding a horse, disqualified as witnesses in litigation involving Muslims; at some locations and times, dhimmis were prevented from repairing existing or erecting new places of worship.

  • This is simply an issue the Neocon/Repugs can use to beat up the Democrats. They have destroyed the country, the economy, and have started two disgusting wars. These disgusting people have no facts, no solutions so they use silly issues like this to distract the sheep that follow them. This guy from the Repug PAC is dip sh+t.

  • 7:57 - When did I call you a biggot?

    *crickets*

  • In the next few years this will all lead to the down fall of all religion.

It will be exposed for what it is, BS.

  • Having such irrational guest makes for a terrible debate.

  • Tom Hartmann is a good guy but his guests are so low brow. Its always a shout fest.

  • Islam is a dirty filthy religion. Throwing out bullshit about a slippery slope gets you nowhere.

Regarding the Republican you have on, he can go fuck himself.

  • @robertmike57

Talk about throwing out bullshit :) that religion will reach 25% of all human beings during YOUR lifetime, God willing, that's a record breaking many people you generalized there, close to two billion.

  • @ZionistWorldOrder I didn't generalize about people, it's just a fact Islam with it's pedophile murdring thieving prophet is trash.

  • @robertmike57 That is right, Mohammed was a dirty pedophile who had many wives. He was also a warrior who spread his religion by the sword and spilled a lot of blood. His ideology is no less hateful than Nazism as it was homophobic, anti-woman and stated that anyone who didn't believe in the ideology was an infidel or a second class citizen and anyone who tried to leave the ideology should be killed.

  • @bonfirejovi

The "Nazis" hateful? I think your "hate" narrative stems from the 'victors (i.e., marxists and banksters)' of WW2. Check this out on the Web:
